Not too long ago i got a trojan on my pc. Today i opened the registry and found 2 files under the default. One was DisableAntiSpyware the other was DisableRoutinelyTakingAction. Both with value 1. Should i make the value 0 and reset my pc?

This is 2 years ago but I am still trying to see if it works on my school computer.

I followed these instructions. I restarted Windows and it seemed to work until I downloaded an antivirus program and installed it but Windows wouldn't let me open the AV program to use it!? I then uninstalled the AV software (Bitdefender) and restarted Windows again and Defender was back. I rechecked regedit and the new registry key and value had disappeared. I recently downloaded Windows 10 to try it out after using Windows 7 way after its expiration date and been using Linux Mint 21 up until recently and am already frustrated with the Windows 10.

I am going for cma foundation online exam one video i saw before said there 2 antivirus one is already in laptop and one we insert so the instruction i got is to disable the antivirus but i did turn off antivirus defender of laptop which is already there and i wasnt able to give exam properly my screen stuck and time was over was it because i turned it off??

Microsoft has somehow, through it's Windows Updates, outbalanced this Registry Edit and by restarting, Windows Defender isn't disabled.
