Here in Denmark giant hogweed is invasive, and the only legal thing you can do if you find one is to report it to the local forester and have them kill it, or kill it yourself

I took a chance and showed this video to a friend's VERY smart, but equally stubborn 🤣 ten year old who (to his parents' frustration) announced that biology is boring and science/school is useless. Clearly a snarky act of pre-pubescent rebellion, lol.🤦‍♀️🥴. I brought it up as a 'I REALLY shouldn't even tell you about this, BUT ...' thing. A mere promise to visit the place as a reward for good grades, even just get nearby, on the next family vacation worked well (🙄 my friends forgave me, thank God!) He's now obsessed with pharmacology 🤔. Definitely smart enough, but there's still a concern that his enthusiasm might pull him in a 'less desirable/legal' activities for profit, challenge and amusement. 🤦‍♀️🙊 Fingers crossed! They're Brits so the trip wasn't an issue, nor apparently his "tude" adjustment. On a whole new level more concerning than getting him and his younger sister to eat vegetables with ingredient substitutions when they were little. Sigh ... 🤯🤔🎈
