Honestly I love how wacky and borderline batshit insane Sherlock was in this series. Proof that a film base on a novel can have a nice novelty of it own.

Very slick that he uses a triangle choke to grab a hold of watson to talk to him.

Just a tip for you grapplers if you have your partner in a triangle and you're paralell like rdj and jude law are here, he will indeed be able to talk to you. Get diagonal or perpendicular to them and the choke gets REAL tight

He could be a perfect cast for joker against Batman

Only fault in this fight action sequence was that there was no discombobulation employed..otherwise it was top notch

RDJ really was PERFECT as Holmes. Just the right amount of comedy and you loved him all the way through the film. Other modern portrayals of Holmes always lean to far on the “sociopath” vibes whereas this Holmes was a loveable genius and a devoted friend.

What always confuzzles me is that Watson blames Sherly for leading them to him but how with that make sense with Sherly in disguise. He saw Sherly walk right up to a guard with no alarm before the assault so clearly the disguise worked and the was watson blowing cover after an attempt was made by whoever delivered the bottle.

I remember seeing a video that talks about how Holmes and Moriarty are fighting a proxy war with John as one of the pieces. It says something that the king (Holmes) thinks it's so important to risk himself, and the game itself, for one of his pieces (John).

Shame though it didn't capture the mysterious nature from the previous movie, like 70% of this movie is all action 🤔

Love that this would only work on old trains. The seperation of new trains would have engaged the airbreaks, but these old ones did not have that safety feature

This time around, I noticed the fact Watson actually grabs the scarf
Now, the scarf has no actual importance but I did notice before the side journey the scarf itself has
Mary gave the scarf to John
John grabs the scarf before the move rooms
John carries the scarf with him
The gypsie takes the scarf Mary gave him, causing him to become defensive and lash out
After a small journey with the gypsies and the fact that they have to be incognito, John lets the gypsie keep it after offering to give it back
Sherlock uses it for his injury
And I thought I saw it near or at the end but I was probably mistaken since I cannot seem to find it

Overall, Guy Ritchie must have some sort of Sherlock Vision himself because I still keep finding so many details in this movie sprinkled about even years after it released
As I once said, this is the smartest movie I've ever seen.
