To me I am interested in clean I know that many companies abuse this to advertise their products but when I read ingredients it is most important for me not to see any potential harmful particles parabene sulfide talc paraformaldehyde etc that surely notorious any thing with acrylamide etc I guess the idea that women be able to decide what to put on their face is the most important

100% looking at ingredients. There are so many chemicals in even some so called "clean" (washed) brands that actually can cause damage to our hormone system, can cause cancer, as well as other organ related issues. Some just accumulate over the years, and the more one uses, the worse it is. But absolutely we should be incredibly vigilant about ingredients! Our skin is our largest organ, and everything we put on gets absorbed and ends up in our body.

Oh and RE: clean products, I used to love luxury products it was my favorite splurge especially skincare, but I have slowly been replacing my luxury items with clean, cruelty free skincare and makeup over the years. So please keep making videos like this 🙏🏼 or maybe a video where you use your favorite luxury items, but then you provide an alternate formula and/or technique to produce similar results. Say if you had a client that requested only clean products be used for example? Does that ever happen for you?

No, I’ve had “Clean” skincare for eczema arrive with black mold already coating the product upon opening. Preservatives are necessary and safe. Clean is a marketing technique, it costs more at point of purchase and it costs more to maintain because the expiration dates are usually under six months for something that you could never use in that time period. Example: Kosas concealer goes bad in 3 months even though the expiry date is 6 months. Science has been thrown out the window it seems. Many people with seasonal allergies are allergic to all of these “natural” root and leaf extracts, and essential oils can actually be toxic to our bodies if we don’t use carefully and know how to “cut” them to be safe. Fragrance does cause inflammation in the skin and it’s common for years of use of fragrance in body products, skincare, detergent, fabric softeners etc to eventually lead to skin diseases. Use fragrance-free options and your future skin will thank you. I only use clean products on my body and home. However when I purchased the cleanest brands of skincare which was also supposed to be hypoallergenic and fragrance free I had rashes and itching and hives. I found out they use essential oils on the products which are fragrant. Even though they are non toxic products I can't use them. A shame since I spent hundreds of dollars on them. Is there no hope? Thank you for your informative tutorials love you.

Biscuit is a really good bronzer on me. I feel like contour looks better in pictures and videos, I have never seen a natural looking contour in person, can someone tell me if contour is made only for camera?

I started buying only clean beauty products and it’s hard to find reviews.

Hi Andreea clean beauty is often greenwashed and is subjective but I look at certain ingredients in a product vs. what is stated as clean. I am allergic to almonds so avoid almond oil in everything and also do not use parabens or phthalates that do affect me and my hormones. I think like anything people should become aware of ingredients in any product that may bother them.

As someone keen to use the healthiest products possible this was super helpful. May I make a recommendation for a reliable source of info for clean products (including makeup, toiletries and food) that has transformed the way I shop. I am not affiliated with this in any way, and it’s a free app – absolutely amazing. It’s called Yuka. They do all the heavy lifting in terms of interpreting the ingredients, and provide a simple score based on those products that contain ingredients that might be endocrine disruptors for example, or have proven issues that can be detrimental to health.

The dermatologist actually wrecked my skin, inducing lots of inflammation and discoloration!! As soon as I got rid of the prescriptions my skin has never looked better! I wear vitamin c clean retinol 3x- a wk- & pile on the physical mineral sunscreen. Dermatologists are doctors that want you to rely on them. Every BODY is different… by trashing Clean Beauty, you are saying that allergies, xenoestrogens, & sensitivities aren’t real. I see how real they are everyday in my profession. Beauty IS NOT PAIN.

My criteria is Fragrance Free and Clean (paying close attention to the ingredients, because "clean" can mean different things).

Clean beauty and skincare is a godsend for me & my clientele. I have clients that can’t even walk thru the laundry detergent aisle bc they are so sensitive to FRAGRANCE. If conventional products do not bother you, that is great-but their are tons of women out there that suffer…thyroid, cancer survivors, hormone issues-trust me as a professional-it’s a real thing.
