This video is stunning. When it comes to video game horror, no other channel compares! Like others have mentioned, the manner in which the gameplay was filmed to make it look like a movie is incredible! Keep the videos coming!

...Seriously, why was Hunnigan even in the REmake again?
Also, yes. The circumstances might be different, but Ada still never gives Wesker the the dominant Plaga sample she stole. However, unlike in the original timeline, this Ada has more of a legit change of heart vs being a triple agent who was working for somebody else while working for Wesker... while babysitting Leon... bc, that's pretty much her lot in life.

So, the characters in RE4 REmake are kind of a mixed bag for me.
By that I mean, that while some characters got a lot of really good character overhauls, others just felt flat or jut came off... less interesting.

In the good improvements area, we have Ashley and Luis, just felt improved overall. I mean, I liked the originals, but the new takes are good too. I actually like this Luis better tbh.

Saddler and Ramone well... they just feel flat.
Krauser is where I take issue bc, while he actually feels more in line with the way Darkside Chronicles wanted to present him, his character ultimately didn't capitalize on it since he still felt... kinda there with most of the character development for him being bc of Leon and not even Krauser himself... I mean, I'm glad Op. Javier is canon but it still didn't make him any less blah in the end.

Ada feels more 'emotional' and less 'professional' here than her badass dragon lady counterpart, but it's not really a bad thing. Just, different. Jury's still out but either way, I hope we get 'Separate Ways' though.

Leon is way more serious and loses his 'Action Hero' vibe which, kinda kills his dynamic with Hunnigan who just feels... almost unnecessary now... I mean, it fits the new canon but isn't quite as appealing to me, but I admit the OG bias on that so I reserve judgement on top of still liking the badassery of his characer here. I guess, he just feels more 'grim' than I'd like despite still being pretty snarky. I guess the class is just a bit much for me bc of that OG bias...
Well, that and I actually kinda appreciated how silly OG RE4 was compared to the rest of the series' mainline titles. RE4 REmake is way more serious and less silly and, I guess that's what I kinda miss... the silliness of 4's overall experience.

Oh, and the Merchant? He's actually an overall improvement compared to the original for one reason only. He has slightly more personality. That's it.
Oh, and this Wesker feels less smug and more douche. But, that might be bc he sounds less faux British and more American.

REmake Wesker sounds like an even bigger douche than OG Wesker... That's actually pretty damn impressive.

The little 'Saddler vision' was how the ganado were apparently able to keep finding Leon no matter where he went. Damn Hive Mind....
