In fact i wanted to go there, there is an okd prayer song my grandmother used to recite, 108 Durga kshetram. My mother 94 lives in Mumbai, last Karkkidam i was with her,daily listenning to this song. The book is in a dilapidated condition. My mother told me to immerse this mutilated book in a sea or river. I visited Gokarna that Vav, had darshan of Durga devi from where the 108 tempkes were done pratishta by Parasurama. Lohanar kaavu also i plan to go. But i did visit Kanyakumari as iften as possible.
2. I visited Payyanur ,where there is a separate sannidhi for Parashuram. Next year I visited Parashuram kund in Wakro,Arunachal, all alone. My driver stopped the car 2 kms before the spot,as heavy winds,rain and a branch of a tree fell on our car. Luckily, a staff of Wakro branch accompanied ,by foot we reached the foothill of the mountain. Heavy ,tornado like wind,till we reached the hill top,400 steps. My steps whithered . Then it is descend to the bottom. Slowly the wind showed signs of weakness. The river was red with heavy copper content,lonely,deserted. My security warned me that just have a dip near the sand bag,there are crocodiles in the. RIVER. I did as he said. Just 20 steps in front of me was a rock like thittu, he said it is the axe of Parashuram which fell here whhen Parashuram wandered here to relieve himsself of the curse of killing 21 kashtriya kings.
He was chased by the local chieftain,so he hid himself in a cave of the rock.
The legend says, because of this heavy wind,tornadoes swept across this heavy hilly area, Mahendra giri, and the villagers believed it is a curse for turning away the guest. They searched for him with lighted torches whoke night,combed the area and on seeing him hiding, sought pardon for their ignorant act. Pleaded him to have his wish fulfilled,as the axe was sticking to his shoulder. In return Parashuram was asked to cut the long range hill to enable them to have a intermediate way to cross the mountains, withput ascending abd descending. Both the wishes were fulfilled.
It is said in Srimad. BHAGAVATA ,that Parashuram offered Kuruti Dharpan.. since the axe ,iron, fell in the heavy copper content Brahmaputra, the place where it fell ,appears to be brackish red, the tiny few grass that gros also look like bristles of red hair.
As I ascended in my return journey, on the top of the point, the wind blew suddenly ,as if to notify Parashurams presence,,thats what the local folks believe. I carried 19 x 5 length,full dhoti and a ghee. No temple around got disappointed, but then a local man appeared from nowhere,guided me to a hutment like place, there I saw full 6ft height Parashuram statue.
I never had any pre idea of this statue. I was excited.
Later on one army officer told me that it was built by them when this area was under their custody till 1963. The belief us the Divine Will.

മമ്പിള്ളി ക്കുളം കഥ 😮.. ശക്തൻ കുത്തി യത് എന്ന് കേൾക്കുന്നു പക്ഷെ കഥയിൽ പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ട്. ഒന്ന് നമ്പൂരി കുട്ടി അല്ല ബ്രഹ്മ ചാരി ആണ്. ബ്രഹ്മചാരി 6 വയസ് അല്ല. അവിവാഹിതൻ എന്നെ ഉള്ളു. 2. തമ്പുരാൻ 18 വയസ് ആകുമ്പോൾ ഒന്നും രാജാവാകില്ല. 10- 20 ആണുങ്ങൾ ഒരു തറവാട്ടിൽ കാണും അതിൽ സീനിയർ മോസ്റ്റ്‌ ആണ് മൂപ്പ് ആകുന്നത്. രാജാവിന്റെ മകൻ രാജാവ് ആകുക അല്ല. മ മ്പിള്ളി ഇല്ലവുമായി എന്തെങ്കിലും വൈരം വേറെ നിലക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടാവും. അതാണ് കാര്യം.
