I love your content and it's a shame that we're getting dangerously close to the end of Planet Zoo content.
Fortunately, as with Zoo Tycoon 2, the community will be able, with the mods, to provide an almost unlimited resource to extend the game's lifespan for at least the next ten years.
I've come across your Planet Zoo mods website, but I'd love to have a chat on a forum to exchange ideas.

i hope this means that frontier will keep updating and making dlcs for planet zoo since this is another money maker for them

Xbox Series X/S means only next gen consoles. Which is perfect. Anything older (Xbox One or 360) puts limitations and constraints game performance and assets because old hardware can’t handle it. This applies to any PlayStations older than 5.

Also, studios no longer make games for Xbox360, fyi.

What are the chances of aviaries/ birds for the last DLC as a final hurrah? I remember having such high hopes for birds being added as exhibit animals after bats were added

We only need one more DLC before Planet Zoo is gone forever, and I believe we can combine birds and marine life into a single DLC. If Planet Zoo decides to pursue this, considering the game's conclusion, they should prioritize including the most requested animals from the wishlist, namely birds and marine life. I hope they consider creating a two-type animal pack before they are done for good. They should call it “Wishlist DLC”, a perfect DLC to end the game.

So are the Pygmy, Komodo, and Thomson's be strictly pre-order, or will they be accessible post-launch

The reason it says only 14 DLCs is that the Wetlands and SEA packs are included in the deluxe edition

@Leafproductions I really truly hope we get news on a likely sequel game in the future , especially since it’s literally following the path of Evolution 1 and we know how it went and lead to evolution 2 , right?

Unrelated but I literally just had a dream about Planet Zoo. The last pack was called the Tropical Forest Pack and was a scenery pack with Latin American architecture. The four habitat animals were the Hainan gibbon, the domestic water buffalo, an agouti that was literally just a clone of the capybara but teal for some reason and a South American monkey (don't remember the species but it looked more like the golden snub-nosed monkey than anything else). I remember checking the forums to see that people were pissed lol.

Those 16 animals will be from 2 of the DLCs so a coupel of DLC less for consoles i guess

What intrigues me is the deluxe edition including 16 species instead of the 3 that was in the pc version.
