Download and install Ubiquiti Unifi Controller for Windows

i'am have a problem when i running the unifi controller, " error port 8080 used by other programs " how can fixed this problem sir?

Do I need an account to set up an older version of the uap access point? Need the server manager for an AP I bought in 2018

Warum sollte ich mich als IT Profi bei denen anmelden, also bei Ubiquiti und damit bei der NSA?
Den Controller kann man auch ohne Anmeldung nutzen, ohne über die Cloud von Ubiquiti an die NSA angebunden zu werden.
Warum die Amis aber immer noch das Angriffsportal von Java nutzen, ist für mich nur ein Zeichen von Unfähigkeit, sich der Geschwindigkeit unseres IT Systems anzupassen!

Is it useful only if you have Ubiquiti equipment. Or ist there any use for the existing non-ubiquiti network?

I have 2 unifi AP's (U6 lite) connected to a POE switch, which is connected to the router. I installed Unifi network application on my PC and went through all the steps (as in the video), but I can't 'adopt' these AP's. They aren't found in my network.
I have been able to install and set them up as standalone devices with the Unifi Android app. However I would like to add them in the unifi network application, to see more details about my network and traffic. What am i doing wrong? Do I need a Unifi console or something else?

THANK YOU!!! Unifis support is terrible, their manuals are worse, but their product-naming is beyond anything. They changed the name of "Software/Network Controller" to "Application"; seriously. Let's spell it out: A-P-P-L-I-C-A-T-I-O-N. All manuals and documentation reffer to "Controller" and this specific download URL. But hey - some marketing guy thought: let's name it "Application" because trees and blue skies and all....gsus christ...why don't we call everything "Application" from now on? ;D

I installed unifi controller on two different machines. One machines can see the new AP the other machine can’t. Strange! I checked my firewall settings and they match on both machines any idea what I’m missing?

i have problem i could not solve which is when I program. one unifi and give it a name all other progams of unifi take the same name pls try to help me thanks

Hi Maher, I have a question, we had an old PC with the controller installed, and it died without having any backup; we installed the controller on a new PC but can't control the AP because we don't have the Password for that AP to export to the new controller, all APs is mounted on the ceiling 30ft, any suggested solution

it says i have no devices. i have a edge router 10x

The Unifi controller app is not there anymore, it's only the "Unifi Network Application" program you can download, is it the same thing ? ... and when i start it says that i've got no devices on the network even though i have 4 AP's .... what gives?

This is not working for me in windows10, not om my laptop not on my other pc.
Always message port 8443 already in use or unifi controller failed to start.

While installing the controller, at the last step which is "Finish" I get a message: ""Cannot configure Controller
Admin name can contain upper and lower letters, numbers and underscore"". Could not proceed further. How to resolve this?
