M.2 NVMe vs SSD vs OPTANE+HDD vs HDD Game Loading Times

Day 12. Still waiting for HDD to load RUST.

Why there is not much difference between loading time in sata ssd and nvme m.2 ssd . Mvme m.2 ssd have 3500mb reading speed but sata have only 550mbps reading speed . So why is there only a little differnce ? Someone please tell me ..

Important thing for gamers is that it should be an SSD , and the size should suit ur utility and price thats all , dont go after faster speeds as it isnt utilized right now

HDD player will be better because he gets to see all the tips

you forget to mention , first time loading on Optane + hdd takes exactly the same time like HDD only !!!!!!! and 16 or 32 gb optane drives are limited so the cache will for every 1 or 2 games overwritten and has to be reloaded with HDD speeds ....

I'm going from HDD to a M.2, I'm so excited... my first year getting into custom computer building and learning it is one of the best thing i've done in a very long time, I'm also learning Python coding.

Looks like my M.2 970 Evo Plus 500GB was a spot on pick.

Solid states storage evolved so much it became a bit redundant and unfair to compare against spinning drives ... the only reason to have hard drives now would be large storage .

Im getting optane + hdd, way cheaper than getting an ssd

in the uk 1tb nvme drives are actually either the same price as 1tb ssds or cheaper... wtf

going through things.. ive been doing a server work for my pc.. btw got i7 8700 spec 16 gb of ram.. the problem with ssd in 24 hours usage is the cache file.. after 24 hours my progams are all messy laggy and need to restart pc. also the laggness of sdd if u open 16 bluestacks is real.. cannot read write silmutaneoulsy has an error always after 24 hours usage my 5 bluestacks got an error.. after changing my ssd system to HDD plus OPTANE.. using z370 aorus gigabyte btw.. it is a complete BEAST server.. running bluestacks 14 instances with no error.. after 24 hours no LAGG so smooth and my conclusion is.. SSD is only good on gaming and boot thats it. but if u use it for 24 hours.. nothing beats HDD plus OPTANE.. can handle any caches and memory cache for 24 hours without an error!!!
