Ngl I love the fact that the SF sat this one out. MK is a franchise that has multi-realm and multi-timeline beings that are Dragons, Sorcerers, Necromancers, and an actual pile of meat as threats. They have Protagonists that range from a pyromancer monk, a dude who can literally steal his opponents powers, and a person who does Motion Capture. Why were they relying on a basic military force and jobbers to be the main protagonists and antagonists? So glad that mk1 broke that cycle, going as far as removing SF characters from the main roster entirely and not even allowing them a role in the story.
