Hey ben, what would you recommend if amazon deactivated your selling account because they did not accept the LOA or letter of authorization. Although i created one with this exact template. Company letter head etc. I sent the document 4 times they deactivated account because of this. Any recommendations?

They didn’t approve my interview saying the country of origin in the registration doesn’t match the info the documents I provided. My business in the Uk but am not living in the UK! Is that a problem? They don’t give an option to update or reschedule the meeting.

Hi Ben, I was wondering if the region/state submitted in Seller Central has to match the region/state placed in my passport ("Place of Birth" category). In other words, my region of birth is different from the region of my address. Would I have a problem?

Hi Ben…… I opened the account in February 2021 as a sole trader business and after 2 months I changed it to Limited company and submitted all the papers.

I started selling on May 23,2021

My Account Status says Information Provided. Your account is under €15,000 disbursement limit.

I contacted Amazon today about this and this is their reply:

I understand that you are concerning with account verification status.

At the moment, your account is active and your Selling on Amazon payment account has been activated.

When you complete the registration with Amazon Payments Europe, you may be able to start selling early.

In this case, there is a 15.000 EUR disbursement limit that applies to your payment account.

As you reach this limit, Amazon Payments Europe will verify your account information in order to lift this disbursement limit.

During this process, we may contact you to provide additional information such as identity document, address proof, bank account ownership document,



So my question is WHAT DO I EXPECT AFTER I REACH €15,000.

Nice job! Business seller verification difficulty is very high at the minute from what I am seeing with a couple of people I know going through verification. Amazon can be even more selective as they dont care if people can join or not. It is seen as a sellers privelege to be allowed to sell on Amazon, which it is really. To add to that the validation team has a minimum number of cases to process per hour as one of their KPIs, so they can and do hit an auto answer/reject on an application just to keep their figures up. To add to that poor performing or bad actor accounts are counted negatively against the validation staff that accepted them..
