Greed, dishonesty, hypocrisy, cowardice are the dark side of this outwardly successful disadvantaged immigrant who rose to the pinnacle of power. In his attempt to become a billionaire, greed overtook him. He delivered speeches at ISB promoting honesty , while he wa secretly conducting insider trading. Hypocrisy in advising students about integrity while condoning bribes being paid to his protege Anil Kumar. Coward at heart by not taking the stand in his defence. Finally instead of showing remorse, he lashes out at the US justice system, which is the more fair than the corrupt Indian system where he could have bribed his way out his criminal, actions. Not surprisingly Mc Kinsey disaoved him and disassociated him, Goldman sachs made him pay the lawyers fees and He will never be able to serve on any board in the US. He is better of in India where they believe in him without knowing the whole story.
