i am a college student . i will be turning 18 in May 2024. I am aware that GSoC typically requires participants to be at least 18 years old. Therefore, I would like to confirm whether I will be eligible to apply for GSoC in the upcoming years, considering my birthday falls in May 2024.

why do i need to get my proposal reviewed by mentors arent they the one who will be selecting my proposal so wouldnt it be like asking answers from the invigilator it self
