hi we cant find available refuge for anticlockwise route. do you think clockwise route is worth to go? Thank you
ОтветитьGreat job, good documentary, even for people who are not running.
ОтветитьBeautiful and inspiring documentary on the Tour du Mont Blanc! Thanks for sharing your journey!
I'm also going to try and do the loop in 4 nights next June so I have a couple questions for you. Did you bring everything you needed for the whole tour on your backpacks or you hired any kind of luggage transfer to take your evening clothes, sleeping bag liners and toiletries to each refuge?
Also, how long did it took you to do the Refuge des Prés - Rifugio le Randonneur (the 39k) on day 2? from there to La Fouly the next day (40k)? and from La Fouly to Vallorcine (43k)?
I've booked Refuge des Prés, Rifugio Monte Bianco, Gîte Bon Abri and Gîte Mermoud. Incidentally it seems like some of them are coincidental :)
Thanks and happy trails!
Wonderfull images and documentary. What is your packaging for 4 days trip ?
ОтветитьThe running. Get it. But an area like this deserves a a slow walk! Hoping to do this trek in July.
ОтветитьMy go to video for background at the house now. I love being down in and around Cham and Jeff brings it right to your living room better than anyone else with this vid.
Ответитьoutstanding 🙏
Ответитьbeautiful, thank you...well done🙏
ОтветитьAs much I love your content and spirits I do feel uneasy thinking that trail runners hop on and off in long distance flights to consume this spaces without giving anything back. We are destroying the biodiversity we so lightly say we love...
ОтветитьGreat video! What bags are you using?
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThat's the second video I watch from you, and Iwant to go for a walk in mountains now. Had forgotten how beautiful our French mountains can be 😍
ОтветитьYou are two beautiful beings with such a wonderful spirit.
Thank you for taking us on this
stunning trip around the mont blanc massiv🙏❤️🙏.
Best of luck at Moab!
ОтветитьAmazing videoo blog. its on my bucket list now.
ОтветитьWatching your videos out of order, that dog barking gave me ptsd. Amazing video as always!
ОтветитьI have just got back from running the TMB in 6days as a result of watching this video a few months ago. Hopefully a couple more years and i'll be back in to run it in one go 🤞
ОтветитьThis was really incredible! Wow! Do you have any videos on what you pack for such multi day adventures?
ОтветитьThank you for posting this - I'm just back from hiking the TMB (in 10 days, 4 days is WAAAAY beyond my abilities). Incredible experience :)
It was also very cool to see the section from Champex to Chamonix as we had terrible weather for this bit and were just in mist/rain/snow for the whole thing!
Amazing Jeff. Yet another high content quality video!
ОтветитьThanks! I have done UTMB twice and never saw Col du Bonhomme or les Chapieux in daylight.
ОтветитьExpectations cappuccino, reality plain black
ОтветитьAn incredible experience indeed! Thanks
I'm wondering what you would do differently if you were camping? Would the added weight of the equipment add on an extra day or so?
Really enjoyed this film Jeff!
ОтветитьYou guys are awesome. Quite impressive! Keep on inspiring.
ОтветитьIncredible video! There is no better video on the route of TMB. Extremely high quality!
ОтветитьWow!! I loved this spectacular video! Amazing quality and sound edition, really this is the best video I have ever seen about trail running! One landscape more beautiful than the other. very inspiring. thank you so much for sharing. I cant wait to run one day this same route! keep going posting and sharing wonderful videos and encouraging everyone! Cheers from Brazil!
ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьThis looks so amazing, I would love to do it. I noticed you had clean and warmer clothes for the evening, yet your running backpacks were small, is there a service that transports your gear to the next hut?
ОтветитьSo great watching this again after I've now done my TMB fastpacking trip (3 weeks ago)! This video was the inspiration for me to do it, and it's so nice to watch it again now and recognize some of the sections and the views! And I honestly can't wait to go back, it was just such an amazing experience.
What's definitely different when doing this early June like I did is that a) most of the high (>2200m) sections are still covered in snow (which presents some unique challenges) and b) most of the refuges and restaurants are still closed so you'll need to plan ahead a bit more food-wise; but the plus side is that it's not so busy, and most refuges still have space even if you book just a few months (or weeks) in advance.
Jeff and Audrée, thanks again for making this, it's really been such an inspiration!
Jeff, I am truly grateful for your video. It inspired me to fastpack the TMB in 4 days. I trained 7 months and I was able to finish the loop in 4 days last Saturday. Thank you for inspiring me with your great work❤
ОтветитьThank you not only for the running motivation and gratefulness for a body that’s able to do things like this, but for petting all the dogs. You’re a true saint! 😂
ОтветитьWhat an awesome video! Thanks for sharing the experience. Now I want to try to do the same 😊❤
ОтветитьAwesome 4 days 👍
ОтветитьAwesome video and journey
We enjoyed with my wife following your 4 days around MB !
So inspiring …❤
Thanks for the video! Which part would you recommend for only a half tour in two days: chamonix-courmayeur or courmayeur-chamonix ?
ОтветитьNull , ...!
Ответитьdid you have the refuges pre booked? I wonder if I will be able to do this on the go this July?
Ответитьvery beautiful route ! could you please share the gpx file or a strava link ? Thanks a lot !
ОтветитьWatched it x3 now, absolutely love it! Me and my gf have planned to do it in-between our trail competitions this August - Can't wait! Thanks for the great video!
ОтветитьThis is just the most wonderful video. Such beautiful sights. And you guys look so relaxed and un-exhausted!
Ответить30 years ago, our bike is steel and very heavy and still can climb. Why not your carbon bike. Nowadays I getting 50s and if I want train climbing, normally I will cycle solo with foldie on climbing. When have group cycling, I will use any road bike, i will feel every road bike is easy…😂
ОтветитьWhats the name of the song at 54.00?
ОтветитьMe - 59, not run since late teens. Took up running (Slow jogging) last year to help with chronic back pain from a 21 year career as a paramedic... And now here I am, treadmill sessions, road running and this month I rediscovered my love for trail running and got some awesome Salomon trail shoes. This video has really inspired me, it was beautiful. Thank you so much,.
ОтветитьHey Jeff what pack are you guys carrying?
ОтветитьStopped watching it because of the "contains paid promotion" sticker in the top left corner of the screen. Very annoying!
ОтветитьWonderful video, congrats, and also congrats for your UTMB performance! Just a practical question: did you book the refuges in advance? I’m thinking about fast packing there this summer but it looks like I’m late with the bookings already…
