I always go into Settings and Permissions and turn off everything I feel does not need to be on. I also go to the PlayStore and disable automatic updates. If I don't use it I uninstall or disable it.

Leave one of them as default, let me to re setting the 2.second one. 2 of these phones, will be one of them at least 1.5 longer (even could 2x) battery than the other one. Realize when purchasing a vendor sponsored phone, ie AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc., it comes with their sponsored content or apps. An unlocked phone is less bloated. Useless apps depend on the user. App hogs do eat processor speed, memory, and battery life. Those that do that, if not actually being used by the phone user, can be disabled; thereby preventing and interfering with more important applications. Personally; my experience with Samsung, in all my years of using their products, has been exceptional. I would be more concerned with Google, Facebook, Meta, Instagram, and TicTok when it comes to personal security and their "Big Brother" activities. Those are the real culprits and the 800lb gorilla in the room.

A I'm especially mad because I was trying to clear some storage on my phone Samsung Galaxy A01 what's taking up quite a bit of storage and it don't even really use Facebook on my phone that much because I have an Amazon fire Kindle with a 256gb SD card so I just use a lot of apps on there instead but it's very watered-down version of Android doesn't support very many Android apps at all so that's why I use my phone to download some things. I turn off Facebook for a minute my phone to see that somehow Facebook magically got another 80 megabytes used they found out every single time you open Facebook it makes it use at least 80 megabytes storage so that is super annoying
