That's what I'm having a problem with. Got gator from my niece was eating that ominvor dry food with water added but loved veggies. Then got super worms and fresh veggies and now refusing veggies. After 4 months brumation doesn't want to eat much?????? Can't stand to be in her enclosure, it's 50 gallons and an adult. I can't afford a larger one but let her out alot. Also outside when warm enough. At my wit's end so confused as to why she's changed since brumation?

just for clarification, I have a lamp set up that has two bulbs. One is obviously the basking lamp and the other one is a UVB bulb and I was wondering based on what you guys were saying if I should have both of those lamps on during the day and, turn them both off at night or how I should handle that because me and a friend of mine we’re doing the UVB bulb would be on during the night and the basking light would be on during the day but if I understood this correctly, it sounds like both should be on during the day and then both of them should be off during the night.

My dragon doesn't like to eat veggies from the bowl. So I spread them on his canopy so it looks like it fell from a tree. He ate em all. So now I just sprinkle his greens in his canopy so he can climb or jump to grab the leaves

I live in south africa and I'm getting a bearded dragon but I don't know if I should put a bowl of water in the tank bc the humidity is between 20 to 40 or 50 and how often should I feed them insects

we got two free dragons off craigslist so we still new at this but we where told to only feed our dragons 10 cricket each once a week that they should be getting more veg and greens then insects is this correct

I feed mine strawberrys. I cut the fruit into small pieces and dice up the dark green leaves on the stems.

I buy about 75 adult crickets at a time and he will eat almost all of that in a week. He gets really excited when he knows I am dropping in adult crickets. Baby crickets die off too fast and he prefers adults anyways. Goes wild chasing them all down .

She wanted a dog, but I thought this would be a good alternative since I’m not home enough to take care of a dog. Lol. I know this video is 5 yrs old, but I have used the crushed walnut for the past 7 yrs and my beardie has done fine. Just in case anyone out there is thinking of using it. She is around twelve yrs old we adopted her when she was 4 or 5. I feed her a mealworm kale salad in a low lizard dish, I just throw gut loaded crickets straight into the cage. Spray her a few times a day, and love on her often. I don’t use a lid because the metal sucks up the heat, so it doesn’t reach your dragon like it should. Good air airflow is essentially. And NEVER pull the dead skin off. Spray a lot more often or give them a lukewarm warm bath. Hope this helps.

I had birds that would get caught in my enclosure and my bearded dragon would attack as if he was the predator. Is that normal behavior?

I use coconut fiber and throw in one or two crickets at a time for my dragon to eat, is that ok.

So cages and pet stors are my pet peev thay sell these all in one starter kits that are fair to small for a dragon who is over 3 moths old and will tell people it's OK for the dragon to live its hole life in a 2' × 1.5' cages people an addalt needs ni less then 4' × 2' cages and ive never fond "starter bedding dragon kit that is bigger then 3.5' × 1.2' not cool pet stoors

Ok so I had this very problem for a long time with my dragons and in 3 or of 5 cases potting one live worm in the saled so that as it moves around under the saled the vechtibols move and the movement in my exsprence triggers ther feeding instenks

I really THANK YOU so much for these videos, especially this one. My Bearded Dragon has an open cage and his own room with a Baskin spot in his cage and another by the window. He seems to like either, and the back side of his cage is facing the window. I was starting to worry untill I saw this video and going to try the 7 day starve him. The longest I lasted was 3 days. Thank you for the information. Lot of evil in the world, just do your best and GOD Bless all of you.
