ОтветитьIt was basically good, though the music was too repetitive for me. Also, too many downward facing dogs for me due to sciatic issues. Also, the lunge doesn't work for my knees. I wouldn't say this was great for seniors. It was a typical routine for any age. Though, I do like the instructor's voice. Also, both of you are very sweet.

ОтветитьIf this is meant for seniors, you should have a senior person demonstrate it with you. It would be more realistic and more people would use it.

22 years of yoga, what a journey from gentle to level one then level 3, then power, then Ashtanga first series, hot yoga then winding back down. I really miss the big inversions. 70 soon
Do a shoulder stand, then cross legs into a lotus pose with wrist touching knees, easy to balance, and
cheat put a blanket under your shoulders, so you can breath freely

I have moderate arthritis and a lot of these poses help it, but downward dog. It really makes my hands hurt. Is there an alternative way to do this pose?

ОтветитьThis was a very well planned, nicely flowing yoga sequence! I’m 68 and teach yoga. My older students would have no trouble with this at all. So we’ll presented and coached as well. Well done ladies!

Ответить64 years old - not for me. This hurt my knees and my wrists. By the time I got into the proper pose, the movement was over. I think I need something a bit easier to start.

It is very effective I did it and have effect on my body Shap. but after two or three days feeling pain in my shoulders , neck and the bottom of my back then I leave it and again do it and again get pain . I'm 50 years old

ОтветитьI’m 72, and this was just right except for too many down dogs. Maybe add a bridge pose? Might be more encouraging to have a “senior” do it with you.

ОтветитьThis is NOT for seniors. I need balance and strength - starting from scratch - have carpal tunnel - cannot stay on wrists for this long. Looking elsewhere for senior yoga. These girls are way to young to understand the pains of over 60 bodies. I didn't get it when I was their age either.

ОтветитьOn the contrary, I am 66, and although I could not do the balancing poses, everything else flowed pretty well for me. I expect to improve as I practice as close to every day as I can.
