In addition to the "paste and replace time selection" custom action, i also did a "paste and add to time selection" custom action.

EDIT : this can be useful for 2 things :

- if you just wanna add to the existing part
ex : you have a part with a cool double kick pattern, and snare and hh, and you wanna add that cool double kick pattern to a part that has just some nice cymbal work and nothing else
You do that and then you just mute or remove the hh since the cymbal work will basically replace the hh

- if you don't wanna accidentally remove something from the destination part, like something that just overlaps from the previous part (especially if you're not programming on the grid, or doing some timing humanization)

I also added the "delete all notes in time selection" action to my MIDI editor toolbar.
