I totally did the glasses thing too subconsciously xD. Great episode, Chris. I am loving the Learn tab in your website. Thank you!
ОтветитьBrilliant talk ! 👏 Our clothing lives in context to with the skills we use. I’m going to upgrade the wardrobe 👍
ОтветитьIt sounds like you are taking on others personality. I say form your own alter; from your life experiences. Your mind has infinite resources.
ОтветитьI started listening to his audiobook that you are referring to. I’m excited I was taking a break and decided to watch your video because it was short and I need to go to sleep. I’m excited about this whole process thank you for your work.
ОтветитьHaving a facade false identity is the basis of narcissistic personality disorder. If you create a fake identity your life and relationships become a sham and you lose the ability to have genuine intimacy with anyone.
ОтветитьFundamentally he’s speaking about using “acting as if” to raise your energetic vibration to improve personal performance.
ОтветитьBeginning was to long get to the point
Ответитьdid he wrote something which explains how he came consistently in the zone
ОтветитьFunny thing I noticed, both are wearing the same pair of glasses, literally!
ОтветитьThis reminds me of the Mastermind that Napoleon Hill used. Brilliant!
Ответить🖤
ОтветитьOne interesting point that he made is that the pandemic and financial struggle hits men and women differently. Maybe because I’m single, but as a woman, I felt the exact same “I’m a failure” when my business closed during covid. I don’t think stress with finances is just a male brain/provider thing.
ОтветитьI just ordered a wig today then found this. I didn’t realise it was that much of a thing. I think my therapist was concerned when I told him. 😏
ОтветитьYou should do another one with Todd now that its been 2 years
ОтветитьThe motivation behind an alter ego I think is the game changer.
ОтветитьFinished
Ответитьdo you guys have the same glasses
ОтветитьI actually did this this month and it has changed my life completely. I bought 3 black professional dresses and 3 black tights and some black shoes and a watch. And I wear the same thing every day from Monday to Thursday at work and this is what I have noticed:
1. My morning routine is 20 mins with a quick blow dry.
2. I get to work early.
3. I am less tired during the day and after I get home.
4. I no longer have thoughts of feeling self-conscious because my outfit is professional as hell.
5. My depression diminished because my impostor syndrome melted off. I am confident in my ability to do my work.
6. People suddenly seem to know my name at work - people from other departments that is. For my coworkers I am a day saver.
7. I believe EVERY and ANY problem can be solved and can muster the determination to reach a resolution.
8. I am following through on EVERY SINGLE TASK. No rock unturned, no crack cracking.
This WORKS!
I really enjoyed this interview! The interviewer let the other person speak and asked useful questions, rather than speaking just to speak. Great interviewer and a fantastic interview to watch!
ОтветитьDj Snake used that too. He started wearing sunglasses and since he is one of the DJs in the world !!
Ответитьdamn
ОтветитьA minor correction in the description. The name of the book is The Alter Ego "Effect" not "Affect".
Thanks for the video :)
Cheers
As a survivor of family abuse I was always scared and hesitant. I decided that my purpose in life is to spread Love Joy and Happiness and I set out to do that. It made a huge difference. Instead of focusing on what others think I focus on putting out Happy vibes. It has increased my business network like nothing else. It's almost like an invisible force field against negativity :)
ОтветитьI was rejected from the military for a disability, but that doesn't mean I still can't be a soldier in my own right. I know just what to say, wear, and do, to convincingly wear a military uniform and be perceived as the soldier I know myself to be. And to those who wanna cry "stolen valor" at me, just remember you stole MY valor first. I'm just taking back what I've earned. And I'm a human trafficking survivor, so uh yeah I sure as fuck earned it, even the purple heart medal I wear to signify my wounds from being mercilessly beaten and r*ped for over a year. Die mad about it, or stand at attention and salute me. o7
ОтветитьHow to pick my board of directors... hmmm
Ответитьyour insane
Ответитьvery interesting talk, but sometimes this guy said things that made me roll my eyes. I wish there was a woman or someone who's not a straight white man talking about this because there is room for more nuanced conversation.
ОтветитьI’m a writer and I have an alter ego. I’m struggling to write because i feel like I can only write what she would write but i don’t know what that is. Can anyone help me?
ОтветитьThanks chris, your smile is a plus
ОтветитьKobe Bryant aka The Black Mamba
ОтветитьWow, I've been halfway here.. I realised I need to start dressing better, started wearing watches again, I also have been trying new things that old me would never do like starting martial arts class.. Seems I've been on my way to make a new me, and an alter ego might be the shortcut I need
ОтветитьIt's like how it's so easy to give other great advice but so hard to take your own advice!
ОтветитьUnwatchable, the guy on meth with less hair depends too much on add too much of drugs to feel confident
Ответить75% of the brain is not and i repeate is not dedicated to the visual cortex
ОтветитьAlmost 50% of our brain is involved in visual processing. True. University of Rochester researchers found that more than half of the surface of our brains, called the cortex, is dedicated to processing visual stimuli.
ОтветитьGreat show!!!!
ОтветитьFake it till you make it
ОтветитьI'm gonna get flammed for this but I think the point of the bible is for people to learn how to create a perfect alter ego to strive towards. To be Christlike.
ОтветитьNapoleon Hill also had a board of directors in his mind that he would chair meetings with
ОтветитьAll you have illustrated is men
ОтветитьMy life's journey is in phases...when I get to the end of a phase, I momentarily get stuck on where to go next. The stuck moments can be long or short. The Alter Ego has opened that window of understanding of how to get to the next phase...clothing myself with what I want to be over and over again. To me, it's a mindset shift I have found valuable to apply into my next phase of life. Thank you.🙏🙏
ОтветитьPretty interesting
ОтветитьDude what’s with the fake smile, if you don’t want to smile. Just keep a straight face. It looks creepy.
ОтветитьThis is great 😃 I rock up as "Rick", in short he's more productive than me, fearless, gets the job done and gets tangible results ✅😎
ОтветитьNot even half way through the video and I've just brought the book on audible. Love the subject, love the energy. Cheers!
ОтветитьGreat interview. Highly recommend the booK. The Alter Ego Effect. Personal and professional game changer.
