Watch Dogs | Ranking The Games From WORST to BEST

I prefer wd1 over all of them and 2 and Legion are awesome in their own way. 2 is the best For Exploring and stealth and Legion is the best at Combat.

Seems like everyone online i see ranks based on mainly the story and vibes. I don't hear much about moment to moment gameplay

The point to Legion is to prove we are all the same..." WE ARE LEGION".. So NO ONE is unique when you're all doing the same mind numbing thing

I think they should make it set in the future where the character gets killed but gets there conscience put into a military robot that you can upgrade to your liking and add new gadgets and change the color of the body and you can upgrade your armor and weapons and the skill tree . With the vehicle vehicles after you created your character you will be rewarded a tank that is equipped with hacker proof equipment and you can buy a big garage where you can upgrade your vehicles. With the online multiplayer it should be like gta. Another thing I think they should add is a mission where you have to go to space to kill one of the bad guys there will 6 but 3 of them will be killed in the same room after you set them up to meet each other.

I think legion is a better by a bit because of the graphics

Watchdogs 1: serious MC and story, easy hacking, good driving, engaging gameplay and a great cast 9.2/10

Watchdogs 2: cringy cast, "humorous" characters, good vibe, amazing driving, engaging hacking mechanics and a beautiful environment. 8/10

Legion: unnecessary addition to the franchise 4/10

The 1st watchdogs will always be the best out of all three games

In legion you need to keep in mind that it is in England and there are no gun shops, guns are reserved for firearms command, military, and government law enforcement.

It evolved just backwards. Each games story got progressively worse. 2 is fun and parkour is great although a little janky but 1 had the best story by far. Legion is fun too but the story is absolute garbage and the characters are lame af

Watch dog 1 ending felt so badass bro

1 had a good story and Aiden was so cool. 2 had great gameplay aka driving, shooting out of cars all the phone stuff the ais interactions and stuff. The open world was also a big improvement. Legion was kinda bad. But the dlc was cool

Such an overlooked series. The political undertones throughout the 1st n 2nd game were incredibly timely. This game gets away with alot because of its subdued nature. Anti censorship and anti corporate while poking holes through mainstream propaganda like swiss cheese. Watchdogs isnt for everyone. The genius of this game is lost on most, but for the rest of us. 1st n 2nd games are masterpieces

Ik this old but I was rewatching this and my ranking is WD2, Legion , and then the OG. Now for 2 I think it was a little too goofy which is good in some ways but it just feels weird and not realistic , now legion I think is ok the combat good but I felt like they didn’t even focus on hacking a lot. Now The og is number one to me because it’s a perfect story , one protagonist with an amazing story, and the game feels more realistic.

Watch dogs 2 is my favorite, Legion is the worst in my opinion.

I cant even play the second watch dogs because of the weird glitch with the game and the AMD graphics card which causes it to crash every 10 minutes, I'm hoping they can fix this problem at some point, but for now the first one will have to do even though I don't like the car driving thing it's so janky.

legion is best for online, Wd2 has best environment and fun, and Wd1 best story and main character

I think the industry as a whole wasn't ready for such a dark tone in a game that competed directly with GTA, today we see the game for what it is, not what it is not.

Watch Dogs 1 honestly caught me by surprise by how good it was. The sequels have their strengths but to me they don't even hold a candle to the greatness of the original.

Ubisoft games need more dog!!! Or companions I guess still good with barely any dogs

I'd have to agree with the ranking. I was massively thrown off by WD2 and how edgelord Ubi tried to make the sequel. It was such cringe and a total tonal backflip back then, so I can't imagine how I'd find it now - like, trying to ape Mr. Robot but with giddy teens. WD3 just got real boring, real quick. Never finished it as it always kinda felt like a glorified tech demo running around with all those random puppet people without a strong narrative backbone to keep one invested.

Wd1 is 1 for my like of it and nostalgia wd2 is two because I haven’t played legoin

I agree with this list but i have to say that watch dogs 2 is better than watch dogs 1 even though i like the game its just has it flaws for exactly its setting i like chicago but once you got the gist of it the setting kinda got old and the city doesn't feel more alive like san Francisco and every thing looks the same.Also some side content such as: potential crimes, criminal convoy and gang hideout felt repetitive

The best part of legion was the assassin they put in, those stealth kill animations put the whole assassins creed franchise to shame

Legion is by far my least favorite, felt like I was playing The Division (which I hate). WD1 is a fantastic start to the world. But to me WD2 is my favorite to replay. The story with Marcus and DeadSec was awesome, just hated when Horatio was killed, but the Nuudle mission is awesome, same with the whole Arc and sending in gang members or police

If you're a glass half full kind of person then go for Watch Dogs 2, if it's glass half empty for you, then go for Watch Dogs 1.
If you are just thirsty and drink the glass, then play both in order :D

I have never had much experience with these games but I kinda enjoyed WD2 due to the fact that it played in The Bay because I'm a Golden State Warriors fan 💯♥️

WD1 reminds me of Gta 4. WD2 reminds me of Gta 5 and WD Legion reminds me of Cyberpunk 2077

I tried Watch Dogs 2 and honestly hated it lol. Haven’t tried Legion yet and I’m not sure if I will but the OG Watch Dogs is definitely one of my favourite games of all time. I have now played through the story like 4 times and love how much there is to enjoy post-game.

The story is awesome, Aiden Pierce is a great character, the villains were very compelling, and the hacking just put it over the top for me.

The ONLY thing I wish the game had was melee stuff. The takedowns are great but I wish there were punches, kicks and throws.

The only good thing about Legion is the John Wick style takedowns.

The whole gun thing in legion is understandable because it's London with very restricted gun laws. There wouldn't just be a gun shop. However they should've had their own smuggled weapon system or something to get illegal guns.

The problem with Aiden Pearce for me is he’s too edgy. Marcus is immature and so am I so I find him funny. Also, Marcus is an actual hacker instead of someone using scripts and doesn’t take himself seriously 24/7.

Watch dogs 1 is the best playing a hacker vigilante taking out criminals and fighting against dedsec was fucking awesome plus the darker tone was unreal!! I want aiden to be the focus again.

WD1 for story, gunplay, and protagonist. WD2 for gameplay (specifically the hacking), world, and cast of characters. WDL for the options of gameplay styles, stealth, and co-op. This is all my opinion tho and everyone has different tastes, you might prefer the stealth in the first game or co-op in the second for example.
