This is a great series. Maybe I missed it, but what is the target SPM for this base?

P.s. for anyone new who just started, don't flip the Jumpstart base upside down, it doesn't work if u do. The inserter for yellow inserters the belt that goes to science places it on the wrong side of the belt if the belt goes up instead of down

i played modded and expensive recipes for so long, I forgot how easy the basics can be.

Probably a dumb question, but the blueprint icon is not available to me until I've researched construction bots. How do I get access to blueprints from the beginning?

make some plan before make big base
do not make everything to thight or to cramp and make some space

Hello, I am new to the game! Is this a good series to watch to learn best practices for the early game? Does it reflect the most recent version (or at least is close enough that it doesn't matter)? Thank you!

Why would you not stamp down blueprints is because it is more useful for us learning as new players to see why choices were made when forming the BP. Cutting those corners is nor really useful for anyone but you. Which is fine. But if the content is made for the viewer, then it's an odd choice. At least that's my feeling. I was a bit let down when you started stamping because the forming of the bases is why I came here at all.

nilaus please update the blueprints i cant import them to my game anymore

I don't understand the snap to cityblock grid thing, doesn't that predetermine where your base has to be?

Isn't there a way to place the first cityblock where you want it and then have the grid be formed around it?

How did you add coal to all of them simultaneously like that?

Anyone can teach me how to import these blueprints to my game

if your new to factorio and Nilaus first off subscribe so worth it also if you are going to build along skip ahead he doesn't mention here but by the end this base is 7 city blocks across and about the same in length you will want a starting location with enough room without needing vast amounts land fill early on when he says lots of room needed he really means alot which was a mistake i made and now i am filling filling and filling lol

What are the chances of you putting all of the NEW Base-In-A-Book in one folder? They are all over the place and i forgot all the old commands to copy paste use robots and other blueprint, how to download and add blueprints in game and such..

Why are only a few of the blueprints u used in the blueprints u have

I was doing a start with minimal handcraft and hand-mining. Not "little handcrafting" but truly minimal. I chopped one tree, crafted a boiler, a steam engine, a lab, a single pair of power poles, 10 red science packs, and a factory, then never touched the crafting menu again or harvest anything by hand. Any debris in the way had to wait until I had grenades. Any serious base expansion is effectively locked behind medium power poles, since I only have four pieces of wood, ever. It was a very different experience.

How did you make the whole grid thing on the power poles? That looks interesting but it would trigger the hell out of me to not be able to move the starting grid setup

Have you tried Multiplayer Servers? Give us some Insights of some of the Multiplayer Servers out there and a short tips and tricks on those scenarios would be great!

I saw some Fish Defender and Mtn Fortress but no Clue on how they work.
