Why did I see an interview with Brian saying that after he recorded his vocals for back in black he was worried that he sang too high and that he was going to be fired. This song sounds like he got his balls cut off….I’m confused.

It was his voice here that made a massive impression on Bon Scott and he told the band about Brian. Previously he didn't sing with that pitch. After Bon died they asked Brian to audition and the rest is history

"Why is the crowd so dead?" Because it sucked then, and it sucks now. Johnson's vocals are excellent, though.

Voice was more natural and therefore better back then.
