@Atreyon You can view this a a training lesson in dealing with an aggressive python. Some snake enthusiasts might go over the top but so what? It can be a dangerous job and it's a good idea stay in training. Thanks for watching.

Just because it's invasive does not mean it should be killed. It did not choose to be relocated to the wilderness of the southeast U.S. It is doing all it knows to do- survive. This is a complex issue, and there are good points on each side. It cannot be simplified to where the animal happens to be. This man has training and balls. Python bites hurt like hell.

@niuchemist, like I said, there are good points on each side of this complex issue. Although the python invasion has been hyped quite a bit, it is still a real problem, and a point many make is that saving native species is more important than being humane to the invasive ones.

I give that dude much credits for what he did....I would turn the other way as soon as I see a snake...

You do a lot of invasive species videos, ever given consideration to doing some on snakeheads? I know they're a big problem all over the eastern seaboard and moving further west all the time.

It would be interesting doing something on the Snakehead but it's problematic to film underwater. Manbye one day I'll put that on my list...
