Only up to HDR 2084

where is the QN95C review? way better, brighter, no burn-in risk; this video is a waste of time, if I wanted OLED, I wouldn't even look at anything else than LG.

I have the 77” s95c got for $2989 at bb open item and have 60days to return or exchange. I’m slowly falling in love with it, but want the most 3 dimensional out of the tv so thinking about the LG G3 if it’s the same or if g3 has more pop. Do u know if it does??? Some says it does and some says it’s the same … what u think?? Should I keep my s95c or get a g3 but price is now $3999 for the 77” g3 but still more than my open item 77” s95c.

i'm a happy owner of the S95C 77". its a blast on a PC with 144hz, with an RTX4090. i dont have any issues like dropouts. its the best TV for me, that you can buy at the moment.

Just a bit of a warning for those who are mounting on a wall, the one connect box cable supplied with the TV is only 2.5m, unlike previous TVs where they were 5m plus. I wish I knew this before buying the TV. To buy an extended 5m cable, it will cost you £149, though it is I clear which cable is compatible with the s95c.

Can anyone confirm that the VG-SOCA05/XC is compatible with the s95c? It looks like it is, but it doesn't show on the website, and someone written a review claiming that it didn't work with the s95c

Don’t forget to mention their software update always ruins the television. there’s no HGIG support for gaming, and lastly, the one connect box all 4 HDMI 2.1 ports are only capped at 40 GB and not the full 48 GB

Something that worries me a little is the separate box for the inputs. It connects to the tv with another cord. Wouldn’t it have any quality issues the more cables you’re running signals through? As opposed to a tv that you just plug cables in the back of the tv itself.

I was really hyped for this TV, but opted for TCL mini led and spent the difference elsewhere. Best decision ever. At the end it is still a TV.

Do you guys think you could make a review of the new HP monitor, the Omen 27qs? It has a really good price for the specs so I'd like to know what the catch is, and there are no videos I can find about it

I found that the noise reduction is not as good as the 95b on older movies, also motion is not as smooth as 95b, weirdly, am I the only one??

Bought a QN90B this year because it had an amazing deal. But I will definitely go for QD-OLED in 3-4 years.

Sounds like a big improvement on the flawed S95B but why do Samsung continue to ignore Dolby Vision? Are they just cheapskates who don't want to pay the licence fee?

The thing that really concerns me though are the reports that QD-OLED is more susceptible to burn in and those purple blacks in bright rooms (which I know would annoy me as I had similar issues with purplish blacks on an old Sony VA LCD TV). As such I am happy to wait for the technology to mature before I upgrade from my LG B9.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Could you possibly share a recommendation?
I'm in the market for about a 80" or larger.
The room is somewhat of a dark room.
I'm not a gamer, mainly movies.
I'm looking at the Sony A90J for $4499.
Any suggestions for a above 80" tv?
Do you think the A90J would be a great choice for the money?
Thank you in advance.

Everything feels solid, but I have already have seen few units of S95C bent in the middle :/ Though, I have seen the same from other manufacturers, like 77A80K, that TV is thick af, but it had a really ugly curvature in the center.

Sounds like S95C is the TV of the year.
The LG G3 is also an incredibly solid choice though, but for PC gamers 144hz support is probably worth moving to Samsung.

i really like the way rtings is going with these videos, really well made...For me they are the best in reviews and i bought all my tv's ks8000 and qn95A based on their reviews. I would like to see also the qn95C rrviews and comparisons vs previous models

There is absolutely no reason to buy this TV over the Sony A95L. If you're shopping in this category you're looking for the best possible quality and don't really care about spending an extra hundred or two....especially when it gets you much better build quality, Dolby Vision, DTS, better customer support, much better picture/motion processing and no over-saturated colors and no One Connect box.

I'm a fan of Rtings (although you have to completely ignore their scores and look at the performance of the individual tests to really appreciate the reviews) and I know they buy all of their review products just like Consumer Reports, but there definitely seems to be a pro-Samsung bias. Rtings wasted no time immediately declaring the Samsung S95C the "best" TV of the year before attempting to review the LG G3 or Sony A95L, even with all the well-documented issues with the S95B (including in their own longevity test!).

Bought Samsung almost exclusively for a couple decades. They all had problems from dying HDMI boards to scan line issues on monitors to insanely buggy and awful UI.

Switched to LG back in 2021 and immediately the experience was night and day. I would wager switching to Sony would be just as great if not more so.

These reviews never take into account the user experience and you can find the user experience sucks with Samsung across the board.

I have the s95b and calibrated the movie mode with my iPhone and the picture looks amazing. Dolby vision is better suited for high end protectors that cost way more than this tv which is why Samsung rather leave it out the tv. DTS gets converted to dolby atmos. The tv speakers sound great with dolby and doubts it would be better with dts since they are tv speakers after all. You really need high quality connection and play music for 500+ hours in uncompressed format to get the full detail in all audio formats. The dynamics are there regardless. Once you understand how conversion works you will see how it works gracefully to deliver everything through the tv itself without delays. Using a separate sound bar or surround system that supports DTS would be the only way to get that format anyway and pretty sure it wont be much different unless you use a high power class A amp system with better wire connections going to speakers to get that full DTS sound. Honestly DTS and isn’t all that. It works with certain titles after 2018 that have DTS or Atmos. As for dolby vision, HDR + is where its at. Enough said…. Enjoy what you can get since its nothing you will be missing out on unless you are building a true home cinema i would recommend different audio systems and dolby vision compatible tv sets that are at a higher price range. Dobly vision is just HDR rebranded into something like iPhone being fancy Samsung Galaxy phones these days basically. 📺

be weary of rtings reviews. qn90b has so many issues, most of which aren't brought up in their review or just kind of glossed over. also bought a vizio they highly recommended which had nothing but problems, great picture though.
