Growing up in rural Texas in the 80's... our weekends consisted of an all night party with The Cure blasting til 3am!! Thank you Robert Smith! Fast fwd 2023 had the pleasure to attend their latest concert with my 4 kids...long live The Cure!

Not many get a STANDING OVATION at the awards. I’ve never been there, but that seems like God level respect.

It's amusing. Robert Smith used to say how much he despised all this type of thing.

Robert and the Cure will always be in my top all time favorites. I remember in the early 90s when I and my brother flew to Hong Kong just to go to HMV Music store and buy their live albums Paris and Show…. Thank you for the music and stories, Robert!

I know of their music bc of my brother. Their sound is unique. Such fun!

I had the honour of seeing them kive recently, they played for 3 straight hour's, which is no easy feat, especially at their age now. It was perfection, i couldnt say anything less

I cannot think of any band who deserves it more. They’ve influenced so many and honestly created a whole genre of music for their fans and I’m blessed to have had them to listen to literally for my whole life 🖤

Humility on display. It always amazed me how his songs evoked so much deep and heartfelt emotion. To me, it was hearing love, hearing the desire to be loved and hearing vulnerability. He poured it out, the things others stuff down and never let rise to the surface to be shared.
