Why is EVERYONE Buying this Gaming Headset??? - Bengoo G9000

I've done YEARS with this headset (although it was from a different brand, it was the exact same) and if you use it with Equalizer APO it actually sounds quite insane for the price. The very best gaming headset I've ever tried was the Arctis 7 though.

^ these are another budget headset but with some better build quality, can also come with a 2 year activation for Dolby Atmos, they’re comfy as heck, and the mic is pretty good

Dont fall for it its all just bait i bought the g9000 and this was my experience. Got the packed plugged it in and hooked it up. First thing i noticted was that it had an aux port and a usb port and did not have power unless the usb port was plugged in. Strange but i continued. I hooked it up in the appropriate places and booted up a game. The game audio came through the headset. The game recognized that u had a mic by adding the mic symbol next to my gamertag. However my mic was not working. I tried serveral times and nothing worked. I used every permeantation of every setting on my pc. Still the mic did not work. I change multiple things in my control panel stystem audio everywhere. Nothing worked. Every guide i find on yourube is some 25 minute long process of settings adjustment that eventually lead to failure. This headset is garbage. There are no videos on it telling you its garbage or gow to fix it just a bunch of bullshit videos about how either its on mute or its your pc settings. Ive confirmed its neither and honestly i dont really care if it was my pc settings or on mute. Who sells a headset with the default as mute? Who sells a headset where you have to dow load 1000 drivers and spend weeks messing with your settings why cant i just plug the fucking thing in and just be done with it? Ill tell you why because of this bullshit liberal donkey ratarded ass government that just wants to steal 30 bucks out of you for a product made in china by some sweatshop slave that couldnt give a fuck if it works or not. American products only from now on this is fucking bullshit

I have a specific use case for these headphones. See, i dont know why or how but i always manage to ruin my headphones over the course of, say, a year. Corsair, Razer- earcups got destroyed or cable got damaged, whatever the case was. Those were 70-120 dollar headsets. Id rather pay 20 bucks for headphones that break and are meh then pay 70-120 dollars and them still break. Ill leave my audiophile shit to my car stereo and my home theater.

Honestly, just buy some redragon headsets, for 30$ more i got the zeus 2s, which have a built in dac, detachable braided cable, detachable mic, 7.1 surround sound and memory foam pads for your ears :P

Big game company always paying for good reviews and even gain the bigger player count than what it really have on the certain game platform. for over a decade. gaming gear's review often found overrate and expensive for feature that not worth it at all. sad.

oka the mic is not good. i could feel physical discomfort in my head when the mic was being used. the low sounds were very low and the loud sounds were very loud

i had these exact same headphones, i bought them for around 20 bucks under the name "kotion". they sounded pretty bassy to me. they lasted me for 3 years before they broke. i was pretty happy with them specially because of the price. my only complaints are the microphone quality was pretty noisy, therefore it was really bad, and the volume slider stopped working correctly after a while and if you set the volume to max, there would be no sound

I have found the most purchased electronics on Amazon have little correlation to quality. I have often been disappointed by buying the top items sorted by number of reviews. I assume cheaper stuff that gets the job done just rises to the top on Amazon...

The real issue with the pleather ear cuffs, on basically any headset, the pleather begins to melt off basically and its just gross. The under foam doesn't have any other protection so it gets filthy fast from just being on you. This is even including showering constantly, the oils in your skin just get sucked up into the foam after they dissolved the pleather
Also these look exactly like the KOTION/VersionTech G2000 headphones, like down to the exact same build and everything. Just less LEDs and less cool looking I guess. I used the G2000 for awhile because they didn't cost much and were fantastic headphones, stopped using them because the pleather began melting like crazy as the glue holding it together fell apart. Great part of the G2000 is that it comes with a splitter for mic and headphones for most PC's

I had some razer naga headset and the mic wasnt the best and they were expensive, now I use a call center headset called jabra and they work so much better and are very light, tbh I would never purchase those kind of headsets again I will stay with my call center ones, they are very comfy, weitgh almost nothing and work so much better.

I just recently unburied my OG Sennheiser GSP 600s and they still sound soooo good. The only thing i had to replace was the EarCups and the cable since they were 3+years used.

Please, off brand factories, if you wan't to sell a headset, please at least make the earcup position adjustable, like for example, the MH751. Oh, while at it, please make the earcup shape compatible with popular headphones, so we can change the earpad with some 3rd party pad if we need it.
