I just finished it with 31 days. I had a similar approach i just was a little bit more cautious. Since in my first two good tries i got stomped by devestating copters and bombers. I had 5 Anti-Air Tank on the north and 5 Anti-Air Tank on the south befor i decided to advance.

Though mission. Do not recommend and would never want to play it ever again. I never understand why they thought putting Rivals! into fog of war was a good idea.

Tks for the playthrough, your AW1 challenge campaign guides helped me to clear them with 300 point S rank for all,can't wait to see your take in some of the AW2 missions for the more annoying missions particularly in challenge campaign

Honestly watching some of the old footage, and your playthrough, and having played both versions. I'm thinking this version is harder.. even with the bonus units, no cheating in fog, and reluctance to use lightning strike
The old game did a lot of dumb things like bombers prioritizing infantry on roads/plains over anti-air

The AI is very bad to judge when to use the CO power in fog. Without fog they use it much wiser than the GBA one but, like Ihis video showed, it could use it to great effect in the beginning but decided to not
