thanks for the review, saved me what probably would have been a massive headache trying to get the asetek la prima pedals setup with the incline.
ОтветитьAnyway to fix that frame flex by drilling extra holes and using additional bolts?
Ответитьlol lets be honest its trash
ОтветитьWhat would you call entry level i have a moza R5 not sure if the pedals will be positioned bad on that.
ОтветитьI have an old T500RS, I see that the wheel is compatible but I don't see the pedals that came with it in the pedal list. Does anyone know if my pedal will fit anyway? Maybe they"ll fit in the T300RS holes?
ОтветитьDo you think I will be ok with the theustmaster load cell pedals …
ОтветитьWhy does it look absolutely identical with the GT Omega PRO Cockpit? same design and same structure but just a touch more expensive.
ОтветитьGreat video! Also congrats on being foreign secretary. lol
Ответитьi'll be honest, it looks bloody terrible. £100 more to get to the playseat trophy is a no brainer for anyone considering this
ОтветитьQuite surprised to see the GT Omega Art being compared as worse. I have one (about 6 months old) and I have to say it’s fantastic. I’m running a DD Pro 8nm and a set of CSL elite v2’s. I get no flex anywhere apart from the seat back does move a little under heavy braking. It’s a great rig for the money 👍
ОтветитьThis thing sucks. Put cheaply in a package, it will never last through a 10nm battle. I've had the wheelstand 2.0 at home for 5 years and it can handle my 8 nm, braking forces from hell and nothing bends. So stay on the ground, you don't get anything for free, from 10 nm always a rig!
Ответитьif only games got released as often as all this hardware to be used on…
ОтветитьHelpful. Thanks mate 👍
ОтветитьWhen you can build an 80/20 rig for just over $200 these make zero sense
ОтветитьDoesn't look inverted pedals friendly either.
ОтветитьGreat honest review here mate. Another company pricing themselves out of the market for me. For an extra £50 you can get an aluminium profile PSR3. The GT Omega Prime lite is about the same price or even a bit cheaper and same story with one of the Trac Racer cockpits. To be fair they don't come with a seat but I'd get a decent rig and a scrap yard seat over one of these. I owned the discontinued GT Omega Pro cockpit which is almost identical and I struggled once I got my DD. So yea again perfect review... Entry level gear only but why would you when you can get a proper decent rig for the same sort of money. I just don't get these companies 🤷♂️ They know people do their research, I can only assume they think that parents may buy their kids them for presents 🤷♂️ I'm struggling to see where they get any other sales
ОтветитьDecent enough for mid range sim gear but deffo a no for DD wheels!
ОтветитьWell, if you got premium pedals and wheel, you won't buy this....
ОтветитьDave ‘I’m not a reviewer’ Cam.
Love the videos
I know you said it was better than the GT Omega Art, but i disagree totally and feel it's an unfair comparison. My son has the Art with a CSL Elite & the V1 pedals and it certainly doesn't buckle in the middle when the brake is pressed, plus you can angle the pedal plate. There are struts you can buy that strength the base plate which makes it even better and lower the flex.
ОтветитьThis looks exactly the same like the old GT Omega Pro cockpit which has been discontinued... I would never recommend it to anyone, the good old saying buy cheap buy twice goes hard for this rig. In line with so many simracers doing the typical upgrades going from low to mid to high range, wasting money along the way. This rig was my waste of money. I had it for half a year or so before I upgraded to a proper 8020 rig, and the thing is worthless in after market, the flex is horrendous, etc etc. Oh well, some sucker will buy it and find out for themselves I guess.
ОтветитьAll this wiggling and flexing may be OK now but I'm pretty sure will end up creating slack over time. Even with lower torque wheels...
I doubt a lot the durability of this product in the long run...
Looks like this will be a no go for me. I really like the looks and reviews of the Playseat Trophy, but it’s pricey and not readily available in the USA.
ОтветитьFor the target market it seems quite a nice little rig.
However if you decide that sim racing is for you then when you start upgrading to higher end equipment this will show it's weak points.
Been there and done that, but I am sure this will be a good rig for many people.
Honest words! 💪 that mid part of the rig going up when pushing the brakes is a no go for me… a tad more flexibility (options to modify) with the pedal tray and wheel base tray would’ve made it more attractive, imo. Have a good week, Dave! 👋
ОтветитьInformative and honest review, Nice! Just a question, I have Thrustmaster TLCM pedals and a T818 DD wheel, do you think this cockpit would be fine with this kind of hardware (especially the pedals)? Thank you!
Ответитьlooks good, better and a step up from my playseat challenge , could be the push i need to get back into racing,
Ответитьfirst 👀
