Always wanted to learn and have had this welder in my online cart /list(s) for a while because of the price…. But ,also because of price was worried it wouldn’t be “good enough”for even the small once a decade welds I need lol…atm I need to weld or have welded a hitch onto my Xterra because the Inside frame permanent nuts snapped when removing bolts on 3 out of 6… I don’t know if I should “ learn” on this project so will have a friend of a friend do it (professional welder) …..though I’m probably still gonna grab the titanium as I live in the north east USA and drive an older vehicle …and rust is starting to grow a lot lol….will be plenty of areas to,practice down the road

I took welding in high school, and as a kid learned on an old stick welder. With that said, are these more "precise" than the old stick welders? I'm thinking about getting one of these to take on some small automotive repairs- like when I replace my exhaust manifolds and need to extract a stud, or doing exhaust work, or body work.

I'm trying to do some metal structural framing as well as a bed frame for a rv conversion. Do you think this can do it?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who have some experience welding. I have the 140 multiprocessor one and it tig welds very well. The cup size choices are lackluster though. You need 90/10 mig gas for solid wire. I recommend buying Lincoln wire only. Any other wire has alot of impurities in it. Hobart doesn't have bad wire just not nearly as good. Vulcan wire isn't horrible and definitely worth getting to start. But if you want quality. Lincoln wire all the way. Miller is just a better lincoln. Miller costs more for not much difference. Miller does make the best tig torch flex head which mates up to the titanium tig torch so u have flexibility. And can use current cups and can expand to larger cups Like the 8 to 10. I think harbor freight sells only 7 as the biggest you can get and you have to pay 65 bucks for the tig consumables package that only gives you one 7 but gives you 3 gas atomizers but they are short stubby cups. That package is well worth it. Displaces the gas much better than 3 holes out of the collet body. For tig. You need straight argon or a mix of argon and helium. The helium helps with short circuit transfering issues that 110s tend to have. So I would do a he80/ar20 bottle with a gauge that measures those 2 plus co2. It's expensive but worth it. You need the gas in a garage to come out with no airflow at around 25psi and 40 if there is a light breeze. Otherwise. Blue demon makes good flux core stainless wire in 308 and 309. 308 of 304 stainless and lower and 309 for mixing stainless with mild steel and you can order that from Amazon. Quite expensive though. Haha. The blue demon 309 ss flux core wire is the best flux wire I've ever used on this machine. It welds solid and doesn't gurgle or caterpillar on you. Wets out the toes nice. Has a larger amount of molybdenum in it and other chemicals. Before stainless welding. Wear a mask. Hexavalent chromium will cause cancer.

Hey i’m a beginner and i wanted to buy a wedding matchine for home projects and stuff but what i was really wondering is if this would be good for auto body shop bc i work on cars a lot i was wondering if it will do good with metal on the car not the frame but the firewall, strut tower,apron, abc pillars?

Looking to get a ac tig welder and wondering if a harbor freight one would be a better option for a weekend hobby welder learning aluminum but im certainly not new to welding and just wonder if its worth investing in something more high end like a lincoln squarewave 200?

Nice video! Can you please make another video with this welder using high quality wire like from American Alloy? I hear it makes all the difference in the world and cuts the spatter to almost nothing. Id like to hear your opinion on different flux wire manufacturers and what you notice with this welder.
