La Fortuna, Costa Rica Budget Travel Vlog | Arenal Volcano, Rio Celeste, Hot Springs

I’m in La fortuna right now. I gotta be honest. Food is bad, really bad. On the level of hospital food. Not to mention every little thing you do is expensive af. Sodas at minimum charge you $13 for a basic meal. That’s after a 13% automatic gratuity. We wanted to get fancy and try a steak house here called Nanku. For 2 meals and 2 drinks, $100?!!?! Steak was grey and rubbery. But when you try to save money and buy food from a grocery store to cook at home, everything is double of what the US charges. My best advice on food is go to a fried chicken joint. Hella cheap and tastes amazing. Trust me on this one.

Worse trip ever been was to Costa Rica. People there just scammed every opportunity and it ruined the whole vacation.
