Galaxy S23 Ultra: Hidden Trick Activates LED Notifications, Old School Samsung Style!

The people at Samsung who created the notification system must be brain dead. If you don't want to keep the always on display on, eating battery, it's a phone that doesn't let you know if you have notifications. Even the stone age early phones had a notification led to let you know just by glancing the phone even from a distance. This could very well be the worst system in the history of mobile phones and the fact that they don't even recognize it as a problem is mind-boggling.

I went to an s23 from a s9+ and noticed the lack of LED while charging 🤔

Or you can go to
settings,
Notifications,
Notification pop-up style,
click on Brief,
then Edge lightning style
And then change the style you like

I want to use a light ONLY for a notification but no sound. Can't figure that 💩 out to save my life.

Got it. Bought the premium version. Used it for 2 months then removed it. Couldn’t get it to do the most basic thing - emulate the old led.

Good day mister Springer, I've paid already for the premium version for this app, after a couple of days i had to reboot my phone and now it keeps asking me to pay again for the premium version. I try to get in touch with them but they told me to ask Google for help, and Google told me that the app developer have to help me. What can i do?

Samsung charged customers more money for less, so they have to pay for headphone jack dongles, this app, usb chargers, external memory, etc. This is why I only upgrade my phone every 5 years or so.

Yall know Led notifications are in your samsung setting. They are just hidden.

I have the s22 ultra ,,it comes with edge lighting already an you customize it wave bubble fireworks an more styles also colors for each app or u could use auto an it goes by the color of the app,,u don't need this app at all its free on your phone already unless the s23 ultra don't come with that feature no more ,,it's easy go to settings an go to notifications an click brief pop style an in their you'll see the edge lighting click on it an you'll be able to advance am select style color an app color choice too ,,also width transparency and duration ,,basically the same an you don't need to download no app or pay any app purchases its FREEEEEEEEE CHECK IT OUT LMK

What about battery usage? Does it eats up battery as it is continuously running in the background to display notification?

I use the edge lighting for notifications.

Can you please research why Samsung has such poor notification delays!!!! I'm about ready to sell my S23 Ultra and go to an IPhone. I have tried everything to stop such long notification delays on any apps besides email and text with no success. Please help!!

Samsung already has the edge lighting feature and different looks to them. They never even got rid of it tbh

The fact that you have to pay to change the colors of the edge lighting for each app, when THAT'S THE WHOLE REASON I WANTED IT is so annoying! Why doesn't the S23 Ultra have that feature anymore!?

I have had this on my last few galaxy phones but have been using another one called LEDMeKnowthat had a few different LED styles and thicknesses but I mised the LED notifications when samsung took it away.

I just set up the edge lighting (which is way more interesting) to work with notifications.
