I am 99.9% sure the Playboy magazine you bought is fake compared to a real original magazine with everything. I am not super expert on old Playboy or anything like that but they had nude women though certainly less then some more modern porn. This is China mainland culture fake stuff. Now if this magazine was made in China or Thailand does not matter but fake it is. You do not have to feel bad for buying that fake price was so little and you got even car toy free. Now as for the front of the magazine and some part of it is not fake for sure example front page true likely, but someone has removed the porn stuff from it. In addition if that truly would be an original magazine so old playboy maybe some collector would have paid more then you did not like a fortune but my guess example 20-70 euro or 20-70 dollars and I am not some expert.

You were probably thinking more of something like Penthouse - that was the far more graphic, full-on "competition".

I've got a book on the history of nude photography as an art and the sexualisation it became.

Playboy's magazines actually started out as a man's magazine featuring man things. Mainly illustrated with car features, latest movies, aftershave and garden tools. It then branched into what we know it as today over a ten year period. But I can tell you they're worth money.
The earliest sexualised images were clothed with hip upwards skin and nightwear revealing at the most.

It was actually daily newspapers with page3 pinups, that led Playboy's articles to feature more revealing photographs of women, but still keeping their older gentleman readers and older female readers too.

Tell you what though, I do love them second hand markets in Thailand for the random items you need, don't need, and what sometimes can be the ULTIMATE in rare collectibles back home . I've already spotted some stuff to buy within the first two minutes. And so glad my ex-wife introduced me to them up north Thailand. I got bundles of real pilot markets containing xylene, proper old school ink. Cleaned the whole four shelves of ink and sold the lot to writers before I even got on the plane back home.

And I used to hear waiting for my ex to look around, in the end it was her waiting for me easy 2-3 hours full rummage,
