Sorry but I can't take someone with an earring like that seriously
ОтветитьFlight simulator is brilliant for IFR not VFR training and familiarisation
ОтветитьCongratulations on finding a pilot who has never played MS Filght Simulator, I'm sure that wasn't easy.
ОтветитьYou should do person who has 1000 hours on microsoft flight simulator fly plane
ОтветитьAre you playing the sim on a ZX Spectrum? Looks like you are getting 15 to 20 fps. It's amazing on a high end system. Yet to do VR yet but I've heard good things.
ОтветитьWhy would I even click on BuzzFeed, I should have known
Ответитьlaptop to the side, not even a large screen, sorry that video could have been so much better
ОтветитьIn the last year I'm sure he's already working for the big names right now they are so desperate for pilots.
ОтветитьWhen it comes to vehicles, video games in general have always had a problem with over steer and erratic movement. I have a feeling AI will aid in solving a lot of the physics problems games have in replicating real world physics.
Ответитьam i the only one that goes to that academy 😂
ОтветитьPlease try to land on the highway next time, thank you! :)
ОтветитьHave to play in be nothing like motion sickness my video screen you play be you will be wired in the copter in combat will not pay 50 for the game will wait a few yrs too much hype right now
ОтветитьA.) Is it on Expert? and B.) Good Grief- he really needs Rudder pedals.
Ответитьwhy does the mfs screenshot in the thumbnail look more realistic than real life or at least it looks better than real life.
ОтветитьHe looks like doctor Mike
ОтветитьThe last dude I want in the pilot's seat is one with a diamond earring.
ОтветитьYeah, it looks like he doesn’t play flightsim often…. you always fly simulators with literally very little input… that’s why sometimes is not good to play too much on the sim when you’re doing private pilot training because you get used to put very little input for a crosswind that needs a lot of input, like a side slip, coming from someone who did that mistake and failed a checkride for that
ОтветитьMSFS is frustrating when it comes to aircraft physics for me. As a real world pilot and flight sim enthusiast I can understand there is going to be a limit as to how much a sim can replicate real world flight, however my issue with MSFS is with the tailwheel aircraft physics within the sim. I feel that ASOBO have completely dropped the ball with this one. The taxi/ takeoff physics are not even close to real-life! They have more in common with an arcade game than a sim tbh. If you compare the tailwheel physics of aircraft in DCS world to MSFS, it doesn't even come close. Nose wheel undercarriage aircraft get away with this shortcoming within MSFS because these aircraft don't experience the same yaw instability on taxi and takeoff and will generally self-center if they swerv on landing
Tailwheel aircraft are much more susceptible to ground looping. Ground-looping occurs because, whereas a nosewheel aircraft is steered from ahead of the center of gravity, a taildragger is steered from behind which makes them inherently unstable on the ground. In addition, some tailwheel aircraft must transition from using the rudder to steering using a castoring tailwheel while passing through the speed range when neither is wholly effective due to the nose high angle of the aircraft and lack of airflow over the rudder. DCS World has modelled these physics really well better than any other sim I've experience. Its so unfortunate MSFS have opted to avoid modelling this.
What is that???? It looks like it's made out of plastic from the dollar store. You could do so much better
ОтветитьSo Flight Simulator is actually kinda harder than a real airplane in a sense (squirrely and sensitive).
Ответитьdidnt even give the poor guy pedals
ОтветитьLol msfs is more realistic then real life
Ответитьwhy is he playing on a laptop that's in a different room?
ОтветитьYoo bro has the same setup as me 😂😂
Ответитьwhy do you remind me so much of that medicine doctor guy
ОтветитьA cessna172 with glass 🤣🤣🤣500,000$ instrument panel in 1970s 30,000$ aircraft. Hope they use it to train for all glass.
ОтветитьThis dude sounds like a young pilot who somehow decided smoking a bowl before this interview was a good idea. Your setup wasn't adequate enough for this pilot either. He should have been informed on the basic game mechanics like switching views first. Also replicating his exact flight and following all the procedures would have been great. Especially from a cold and dark start. This video could have been valuable. lol
ОтветитьPlease x plane 11 or flight sinulator?
Ответить🤦♂️
ОтветитьThis dude is unlikeable
ОтветитьI'm thirteen I've already flown a cessna in aviation camp just made enough money to get a pc and wanted to get into the flight sim just wanted to know if it would be realistic or not and this gave me a great perspective so thanks!
ОтветитьIn about 1984 I had a friend who was a computer programmer and he excitedly asked if I would like to see his flight simulator. "Er OK" I said and he showed me his computer which was a beige CRT black and white monitor and the flight simulator was all little white lines and dots. I asked if he wanted to go out for a few beers and he said "No, I am so into this !". Got to say I wasn't impressed.
ОтветитьThe clouds looks better in the simulator :D
Ответитьso i suppose by the looks of it that piloting is easier than the way microsoft sim puts it??
ОтветитьI’ve never heard an instructor say: “let the plane do whatever it wants to do.” Other than that nice video.
ОтветитьDude looks like a stoner 🤣
ОтветитьYou can totally totally set flight controls to be very realistic. Yours just wasn't. Good vid
ОтветитьI would ride with a guy that crashed twice from engine problems. People got nervous when he would tell them but would you rather ride with someone that’s never crashed or some that has twice and never got injured
ОтветитьBuzzfeed ? Aren't you Communists?
Ответитьyes, you can set your sim up to where you do everything from pre flight checks to full taxi from apron, to taxi way to lining it up on the runway
ОтветитьI can guarantee you would never be my pilot.
I doubt i would enjoy getting the life yawed out me!
Are you a real pilot?
Ответитьhes cute
ОтветитьYou didn't even bother giving him a proper external monitor?
Ответитьauto rudder, no pedals? wot???
ОтветитьYa'll couldn't spring for a better setup?
Oh yea, it's BuzzFeed. I'm surprised you fuckers can afford breakfast.
Thank you. This was very interesting and you are a great pilot!
