Green Architecture Saving the World | Visiting Sustainable Buildings from Across the Planet

I thought this video was really interesting.🤔 I can understand why cities would one to have green architecture but I wouldn't necessarily see a green city wanting to save the world. The world doesn't need to be saved I can understand eco-friendly architecture looks nice and it is but the reason shouldn't have to be to save the world. That is the honest truth The actual reason should be because it just looks nice people shouldn't have to worry about climate change.....

Way to go is green!

We need to focus on Innovation and Design ... not gaming the political/financial system with Carbon Trading.
If Climate Change were an existential threat, then we would have doubled down on Nuclear energy decades ago.

Biophilic design is also good for lowering stress. It has a lot of benefits.

One of the things I thought in my brain is how many dead plants that the city needs to clean and how big is the maintenance staff to keep the plants good?
Second, so many lawsuits for trees ruining property…

Green building do not need LEED certification. Green buildings are buildings that designed utilizing strategies that promote wellness and net positive that contribute to the sustainability to the urban fabric. We should not design just to meet a certain certification for awards but to design to make our city greener.

A little green is nice for sure. Too bad these building ain't sustainable at all :) - (construction, materials, life cycle,...) - Hope Going Green (who's doing a nice job) is gonna find the green gem we are all waiting for!

Andere Aspekte auch, dass wir uns unser Lebensmittel kümmern. Beispielweise habe ich hier selbst pflanzen. Ich nehme trockene Blätter, damit ich selbst die Erde herstelle. Vermeiden Pestizid. Das heißt, ich gebe die Natur zurück. Viele Landwirte stellen Lebensmittel mit Pestizid her. So schade, aber ja. Ich mach jetzt, sonst Verspätung.

Vertical greens and gardens... But yet again what about Terrestrial animals?? Seems like NOONE of those people care about sustainability of environment for terrestrial wild animals and terrestial insects and other animal species... This ECO-friendly environment should NOT BE only friendly for humans and some animals like Birds that have advantage of wings and can reach the greens, or Fish and marines (which is great actually) BUT what about all the wolves, pigs, cows, bears, deer's, boars, rabbits, turtles and turtoises, elephants, giraffes, beetles that cant fly, earth worms and other crawlies, and many many many billions of other species... Future must start thinking of preserving the SOIL and NTURE on the Ground for the terrestial animals and Pets too. Could you guys Please investigate that from all those inventors, how are they considering these animals as a part of the FUTURE? thank you so much for your amazing Channel and work you do Love & Light

I don't know when locals and government in my city will take action to make it sustainable. the pollution rate has increased very much and I can't breathe properly outside. A swiss app was showing that my city's air quality is hazardous.

Great video!! I love that the vertical garden in Barcelona had a sign with the species that are living in it. I reminds people that it is not just on this planet.

but...If CO2 helps the plants grow...isnt it a good thing to burn fossil fuel so plants can get more carbon so they can make more celulose, sugars and proteins with the carbon and increase the overall biomass in the planet? Im curious, since i tought greenhouses used those principles to increase plant growth by adding CO2, wich increments photosynthesis.

The content is very good but the frame rate gives e headache.

a lot of these ideas are just concept-stage and barely scrape the surface. They are being promoted by people who dont really understand the science involved. Some real-world highly useful options include solvent-free paints eg Lakeland Paints - which are solvent-free, VOC-free, Non-toxic and actually edible ! Surely, paint solvent is a tiny concern you might think ?? Not at all - paint emitted 24 MILLION tons of greenhouse-gas solvents into the atmosphere last year and every year (WHO 180 et al) - and these solvents are on average 20-50x worse than CO2. So - if you really want to do something to help counter global warming you could do a lot worse than switch to one of the VOC-Free paints out there.

What about soil erosion 😡
