Just some info for the ones that are going to follow the instructions: No application can read every instrument/note/melody of a song as individual parts (yet), so the file that you will convert through Melodyne will be only one channel with all the notes in it.

This software does not have the option MIDI. There is only WAV and AIFF
Also, mp3 to MIDI conversion using local softwares is impossible.

i have installed and opened the programm,it doesn^t get the mp3 files,it can^t open them,it says" unhandled exception caught" what shall i do?

I have downloaded the MAC version and there is no way to export to MIDI, just WAV and AIFF. Any ideas?

It's definitely better to drop the installation of Melodyne and concentrate on ONLY the audio to MIDI conversion steps (starting with loading/importing the audio file into Melodyne).

The midi file is useless there are no tracks in the file. In other words no data this simply converts the file tag not the content of the audio file it is still an MP3 and useless in programs like Guitar Pro Vocaloid etc.
