My Husband's Mom Comes First

My husband’s mother comes before me. She’s still married to her husband (my husband’s dad), but she told my husband she doesn’t like me. I’m a professional woman, and I earn more money than my husband. I do all of the cooking and cleaning. My husband’s mom and her two sisters are always badmouthing me to him. It doesn’t matter what I do. I’m preparing to leave, but I want to find a comfortable house for myself and my son as the marital home will need to be sold.

My husband's mother is also the other woman in the marriage. It came to a point where she gave him an advance on his inheritance with the stipulation that he change his will to say that if anything happened to him, I had to give the money back to her. And he did. I was a stay at home wife, and her reason (from what he said) was that she said "if you don't work you don't eat."
