How can I move my Google Drive Files to a USB Drive or to my Computer?

Question: would this work for a massive amount of video footage? I have 300gb of footage on a Google drive what I want to get to an external hard drive without any space being taken up on my laptop.

I have a PC and I'm not getting a Check Box to select each file like you are doing..how do I select what I want??

What do I do if this isn't working? The Zip files don't have mp4s, and after the download when I try to open the zip file, the computer tells me it doesn't recognize the files.

@TLBurriss, can you convert a file to a Microsoft format and then save it to a thumb/flash or external drive? Example Googe Doc to a Word Doc? Is that even possible?
