Disagree with a lot of these examples. Seems like the speaker is judgmental and too full of themselves (calling others “inexperienced” and “arrogant@)

Mr Richard, I wish I could see you to express my delight for your interview tips. I listened to your videos on interview tips and used the tips in my interviews. I passed an interview 2 months ago for a high profile clinical scientist job in the UK, using your tips. The behavioural question that I was asked came this way: "How would you handle conflict at work? " It was a tough question, but I was already primed for answering correctly, having listened to your ideas on answering this same question.
My answer; " First of all, I'm an emotionally intelligent and self aware person. In such situations, I would First look inward and search myself to know if I was the cause of the problems. Then, i would take the second step of going to my colleague and resolve the conflict. Perhaps I was misunderstood and didn't see the situation from their perspective, and I would listen and make the necessary adjustments. And even if it was obvious the fault wasn't mine, i would still take proactive action to resolve the issue, since, at the end of the day, we need each other and conflict resolution is important for the growth and productivity of our group. Very rarely would I take matter of conflict to my line manager, I handle conflict interpersonally 99.9% of the time. The only occasions where I would take such matters to my line manager was if the issue would be detrimental to the image of the company and the manager needed to know about it. Otherwise, I handle conflict with emotional intelligence and self awareness.
Then, when I was asked after the interview if I had questions. I used your proven tips:
1. What would you expect from a successful candidate who wants to excel in the role, and
2. Where would you see me a year from now if I joined your team.

The chairperson of the interview laughed broadly and commented, "I can't believe I'm being interviewed today 😂" She said, to my second question, "I would expect you to have passed your clinical certification exams"
Obviously the interview panel hadn't heard such questions before from a candidate They all laughed😊.
After the interview, they asked for my number and said they would get in touch to give me feedback and then the zoom ended.
Then came the waiting time...
Two days later, the interview chairperson rang me to tell me I was successful. After screaming aloud on the phone in joy, i thanked her, and then asked for the reason why they thought I was suitable for the job. Her response:
1. You obviously know your subject, and you answered the technically questions very well. Your presentation slides was well explained too
2. And then, did you remember the question my colleague asked you about conflict resolution? Your answer was very heart warming. You are very self aware, and after the interview, we concluded amongst ourselves that we would start to use that approach in our team and then we unanimously concluded you're the type of person we want on our team. Even though you do not have the specific clinical certification which is a desirable specification on the job advert, we believe you could obtain your qualification within a year. You are welcome!

It was an awesome moment. I became a role model instantly even when I hadn't joined the team physically. Thanks Richard
