Chung actually i got external Hemmoriods and a little swelling around my anus it's not that paining i can do my work properly i can walk and also i never give pressure when I'm in toilet but the only one thing for what I'm stressing is that i got a small lump around my anus... So dr can i just wanna ask you how to cure them at home ?

Hi there. Its my 3rd week post delivery with C sec. I suddenly had painful anas withno constipation. Cant even sit as it hurts. During and after passing stool the pain is intense. wts the reason . i was all normal till my cesarian.

My External hemorrhoid was thrombosed and burst so I just kept the area really clean so it heals .

I have a small external hammerhoid. Its just one bump and there was only light bleeding (only on touch). Now the bleeding has stopped and the size has decreased from what it was before. The bump keeps on getting tighter and then again smalles but its still lesser than the size of the nail. No pain at all in 4 days now.

Can it completely go away on its own?

I have had an external helorrhoid since I was 22. I am 68 now. It's never bothered me, and asked my PC if I should seek getting it removed. He said if it doesn't bother me, then the pain wouldn't be worth having it removed. It's kind of a hygiene thing with me.

I have had the hemorrhoidectomy done by a doctor that haven’t recommended me nothing after the surgery, not a dietary, not even a pomade, just pain killers. it turns out that after the pos surgery I developed a new external pile that has grown and it won’t come out without another surgery. Hi Dr. Chung! On August 25th I got my first external hemorrhoid as I believed it to be. I'm not sure if I got it through constipation, but a couple days beforehand I remember cleaning to hard in that region. Through my first check up on the day it appeared (25th), the specialist said I had no hemorrhoids, but through a finger examination she detected internal bleeding even though my pain was not internal nor did I have blood when using the bathroom or in my stool. I think she may have caused my rectum to bleed in doing so (which WAS rough), but I don't really have that issue and feel fine on the inside. I scheduled another appt for a physical exam on the 31st with another doctor. The doctor did not check me to clarify if what I have was a hemorrhoid, but explaining to her what it was she said that's probably what I have. As it was giving me issues since the day it appeared, she suggested personal treatments/remedies or surgery (specifically hemorrhoidectomy). I'm not so quick to get surgery, because it can alter the anatomy of the anal tissues. A day or two after the appt, I bought and started using Equates Brand Hemorrhoid Cream (Lidocaine Based) which helped some by numbing the pain, but not completely. As of now I've switched over to Preparation H Brand Ointment for a total of 3 days (including today) and now I am able to do everything I usually would do from sitting on normal surfaces to non-painful bowel movements. Although I still have to wipe softly and use the shower gently as well without the potentiality of irritating it like it was before.

However, my main question is that I still have the external hemorrhoid lump just outside the opening. I'm on my second week of having the external hemorrhoid. It's for the most part painless and itches for a few moments at random times and then goes away. It's also the size of a pea, somewhat like a big sized Black Eye Pea. I'm wondering, if I continue to use the Preparation H Ointment, will it eventually shrink away or recede to where I can wipe normally and wash normally without the lump being there or do I need to get surgery to remove it. If I do need to get surgery aside from Stapling, Banding or Hemorrhoidectomy, can Laser Coagulation be the better more non-severe choice and not give me to many side effects?

I apologize if my message is to much to read, I rather give all the clues and info for your best observation.

How do you keep the operated area from getting infected after surgery since you use the bathroom in the area this is what I worry about

Hi Dr Chung, regarding this Video, it sounds like you are saying you can do the External Hemorrhoid's surgery at your office, less evasive and less complicated. If so, is there a difference in the removal procedure? Are you still cutting out the Hemorrhoid's and stitching it?

Every three or four years I’ll get a really bad week or two flareup where the hemorrhoid looks like it’s external but then once the swelling goes down it’s like nothing ever happened. Would mine be classified as an external hemorrhoids or prolapsed hemorrhoid?

I hate a hemorrhoids surgery.. My surgeon was good but if any surgeon says that your pain will be gone within a week or 2, they just absolute liars..yes pain starts to reduce after 2 weeks but it still around pretty consistently for 4 weeks easily... It's been just a little over a month & I still can't sit without a donut pillow. Even when have to go for follow up check up to the doc, have lay down sideways in thy back seat, cause sitting in a car even with a donut is extremely uncomfortable.. Recovery is just an absolute shit slow.. I truely detest my life right now stuck inside home.

I’m so ready to tie off my own hemorrhoid during pregnancy I had a thrombus hemorrhoid and my doctor just lanced it to drain the blood. So from this I have 2 from when he split. This was 27 years ago and I’m so over it!

I had one large external, one external skin tag and one grade 1 or 2 internal removed and its not been too bad. Please dont let pain put you off, people mostly only write about the negative. For me its totally bearable
