my pc has a 2.9 GHz core_i5 cpu with 6 cores and 12 threads and 8gb ram thinking of upgrading it to have at least 3.5 or 4 ghz and 12 ram due to my pc not performing the best on modern games like the new mk or jedi survivor. Think I should upgrade. Edit: for jedi survivor it take a while to load the game but run kinda alright though there are instances of not responding or crashing. While for mk 1 takes forever to load doesn't respond often and is cpu and ram heavy.

iv just brought a gaming pc but since the notified message that i need to update a few parts i have and i dont know how i do it. i did my graphics card but the picture is worse than before the update. how do i sort it out

I have a prebuilt from Build Redeux with standard parts born from the covid days, desperation definitely cost me. I've spent a lot of time on your channel and wish your 5600x build existed those days. I bought a new monitor to play at 1440 but i wish it was a more comfortable and richer experience. So now im in this hole of what to upgrade. I've got the sinful Asus x570, Ryzen 5600x, 3060 ti, 16gb (8x2), M.2 NVMe 500gb, (expanding the memory is what started everything), PSU 600w.

I'm just kidding that’s the specs of 2 of my old computers that I built a long time ago for myself and family but now it’s old I use it for chia farming and kind of CPU. It actually wasn’t until quarantine where I got an actual computer or upgraded which i upgraded to a Dell XPS with I7-11700, 3060TI and I upgraded it to 64 GB of ram and 2TB Nvme ssd with an extra 8TB. I actually am a miner so I bought a couple of those so for the 3060TI and the CPU and the 1TB drives that came with the XPS desktop originally. But I did also end up building an another computer that doesn't have a case because it’s sole made for mining with a 3900X CPU.

So, having a 7th gen intel i7-7700 with 4 cores and 8 threads isn't worth the upgrade (of GPU) and would rather be worth the money for a new PC build?

My i3 isn't compatible with WIN 11. Since WIN 10 v 22H2 won't be supported by sometime in 2025, I'm looking to upgrade the CPU if cost effective. I've maxed RAM to 8GB, added Vid card and 1TB HD. So, I like it for what I do.

Alright i've been thinking of upgrading my PC and considering you reply to comments could you or anyone help me out here, My motherboard is a ga-78lmt-usb3 r2, i have 8 gb of ram (yikes i know, I think i need to get a DDR3 stick of ram.. idk if my motherboard supports ddr4), I have an AMD FX 8350 (4000mhz i think) eight-core-processer and a Nvidia geforce GT 1030 (not sure if my PC is trash but i think it kinda is, which is why i want to upgrade), Now i wanna upgrade my to these parts BUT im not sure if they might work, I also got this pc from amazon or walmart, It is an ibuypower PC: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 240-Pin SDRAM, MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 and a amd ryzen 5 3600 or a 5600 but i've heard that my motherboard supports the AMD FX line of processers so.. should i get a FX-8370E? that and should i swap my motherboard to something else that supports the stuff i listed?.. i also don't mind swapping out stuff for other stuff if i do need to upgrade and lets say a DDR3 ram stick doesn't work anymore bc the motherboard needs a DDR4.. i'm unsure what to do and honestly i need some help because im new and.. frankly confused.
