God I remember buying this record when I was a young lad, how time flies 😢😢
ОтветитьAlways loved this song
ОтветитьBloody love that amplified mandy, what a great sound!
Ответить❤ love this
ОтветитьPaul Jones - the Second Best Leather Trouser wearer next to Phil Lynott - damn hot. Wonderful, saw him with the Blues Band at Hammersmith I can't remember how many years ago but it was bloody awesome.
ОтветитьUsed to love the Manfreds especially when Paul Jones was with them. Used to fancy him something rotten! Tom McGuinness is quite a character too.
ОтветитьBrilliant,I have followed Paul Jones since I was a teenager in the sixtees

ОтветитьSuch a great atmospheric song, loved it then and now, brilliant.
ОтветитьBrian Jones asked Paul Jones before Mick Jagger to be the lead singer of the Rollin Stones
ОтветитьWhat a joyous song -- despite it's title!!! Fantastic lads. Keep on rocking!!!!

ОтветитьPaul Jones is one hell of a harmonica player.
ОтветитьAlways were good live..great
ОтветитьThank for this brilliant band thanks Paul and Tom
ОтветитьI wish I could have been there. Brilliant. You don't get real music like that anymore. Bloody sad.
Ответитьsax is totally inappropriate on this song. could do without the harp as well.
ОтветитьGreat song.
ОтветитьPaul taught me French so I would pass my "A" levels. A joy of a man.
ОтветитьMike D'abo on keyboards. Great stuff!
ОтветитьFirst single I ever bought
ОтветитьWonderful!! Brought back great memories. Thank you Paul and Tom
ОтветитьLots of noise on the stage...
ОтветитьLove these guys!
ОтветитьJust lovely to see you guys singing this again, loved this the first time I heard it and went out and brought a copy, still have it.
ОтветитьWhoever posted this, I love you! This is so joyous and good. Love the Manfreds!❤️
ОтветитьA great band, I don't doubt, but this is a very tricky song to cover effectively. To my mind it needs something approaching Hugh Flint's original (in both senses of the word) drum accompaniment - lurching, almost random-sounding in places, but somehow exactly right - to really lift it. Check out McGuinness Flint's live version recorded at the BBC - at least as good as the record.
ОтветитьIs that Mike d'Abo on keyboards?
ОтветитьSo cool great track brilliant lyrics Love it
ОтветитьSaw The Manfreds in Wakefield last week ( September 2017) and really enjoyed the show and music. Paul Jones is just brilliant.
Ответитьwow sax player needs some practice - great song though
ОтветитьWatched the Manfreds perform this in the pavilion on Cromer Pier, Norfolk on Friday 17 March 2017 and boy are they good. Paul Jones seems absolutely ageless and looks and acts like someone in his 40s.
ОтветитьFantastic
Ответитьthe boys still can do it.
