ОтветитьWhat about a cross bow ?
ОтветитьYou may want to learn to do that you may not want but it might be aware of protection
Ответить12 for Jagg
ОтветитьJag likes to eat...oh and hunt..
ОтветитьAll I can think about is Bill Engval telling the story of taking his wife deer hunting! Love the passion and appreciation for hunting and harvesting. It is really essential to appreciate the primal part of our nature that hunting puts us in touch with.
ОтветитьHey! Your new homestead is near me! And I am an avid bow hunter. We do an all ladies javelina hunt in January and you are welcome to join us.
ОтветитьOMGosh... Sasquatch AND a bowhunter... you hit the jackpot in Husbands!!!!

ОтветитьMy first bow (bought when I was over 25 years old) was a diamond infinite edge pro (pretty much same as the on you looked at). Shot several deer and a turkey with it as well as competed in 3D tournaments. I started with it set to 45lbs to work on form (100s of arrows) then cranked it up to 65 before hunting. I’ve now passed it on to my 10 year old daughter as it adjusts waaay down in weight and length.
They’re also super light which is a big deal for holding steady without exhausting your front shoulder. I don’t see enough about weight in bow reviews since the weight doesn’t matter as much to a grown man (and can help settle the bow) but for someone new, especially a woman or child it makes a huge difference.
Thank you for the information on bow hunting. I know nothing about bow hunting. I will be enjoying your journey to being a professional bow hunter. It is great that your children are involved in bow hunting and especially in regards to knowing where their food comes from. The most gratifing thing about learning something new is that you are constantly challenging yourself to achieve greatness! 😊
ОтветитьYears ago I worked with someone who fed his family by hunting and fishing... three freezers filled with meat, poultry, and fish. He only hunted with bow and arrow as well! A great guy, too! Love to see the two of you doing this together! Cheers!
ОтветитьI just learned how to shoot with a traditional bow. Love it. It's also "quiet hunting", so that your neighbors won't know that you just put food on your table :).
Ответитьyup solid 11
ОтветитьEthan is awesome and will take care of you.
Ответитьstick with it and the wingspan thing divided by 2.5 is just a starting point its not always correct good luck
ОтветитьGreat to see this.
Ответитьyour family is beautiful & the land ya'll chose, we're so excited to Lord willing move and get to learn homesteading too.. God bless ya'll 💗
ОтветитьI'll be interested to see how you go with the hunting. I have a friend who bow hunts and never thought I might do it myself. You give me pause to think!
ОтветитьLooks like your draw length is a half inch too long. The string should be at the tip of your nose not along the side. Get a nose button or kisser to help with that reference. And I agree with thumb button release it will help with accuracy. Your front hand is still not on a 45 %. Good luck
ОтветитьI think it's an 11!
