The panel in the storage closet might just give you easy access to the plumbing in the bathroom. My house now has has two such accesses. I had some plumbing issues last year and I went with the option to open up a spot in the guest bathroom to deal with a problem in the master shower. I think a previous owner had a similar problem with the guest tub, because there's access for that in the guest bedroom.

Are there any good businesses in VA? I know of Clayton homes but they're absolutely Garbage including the ownership and staff. In need of a honest trustworthy business in VA.

I love this one for sure and I agree with you regarding open floor plans. I do have a questions though. In the kitchen, why isn't there any outlets for the counters? Are they under the cabinets where the lights are? I just thought it strange.

This home needs a nice traditional style fireplace with stone front and hearth plus remove the carpet in the living areas. I'm disappointed at the placement of the water heater inside the Master closet. Truly the linen cabinet built into the double vanity in the Master bathroom should really be on the right side next to the shower so you don't hinder the shower entry area while at the sink if two are in there plus the linen closet right there next to the shower just makes much more sense. The dining room and kitchen with breakfast area and living room is about perfect, only thing I would like that this home doesn't have is at least a step in (closet style) Pantry. Don't need the attic space so should get more space in the hallway. Like the laundry room and the 1/2 bathroom.

Love this one but a few things...
1. Still no coat closets by front door.
2. No mud room facilities in utility room. Way too small.
3. No electrical outlets on kitchen walls.
4. No communal linen closet.
5. No walk-in pantry. A house this size should have one.
6. Imo, I still dislike subway tile.
7. Imo, I still dislike walk in showers. They're a pain to clean.
8. Too little storage room on main floor.

Love:
1. The huge windows. Let that sunshine in!
2. The great calming color pallette.
3. Welcoming sitting porch.
4. Imo, Love all the bedrooms at the same end of the house.

I get it on the open floor plan, we just bought a new home with one and yes the noise is a factor something I don’t like about it!

I agree with you Chance about the carpet. My parents had wall-to-wall carpet when I was growing up and it required too much vacuuming. No matter how much you vacuum it retains dirt.

Very nice layout. One of the better ones you've shown but for one minor detail that kind of surprises me. Homes of this caliper usually have a nice pantry in or near the kitchen, preferably a walk in style. This one doesn't seem to have a pantry at all.

Love this home! I really like the floor plan and the walls separating the kitchen from the living area. One thing that would help if it had a pantry; otherwise it is perfect.

I've seen zero outlets in the kitchen other than one on the island. Where are the outlets for the coffee bar, the can openers, crock pots, food processors etc? Are they under the cabinets with the lights?

Definitely don't love all the carpet.

Love this floorplan! It's open, but not wide open. Wouldn't have carpet in dining room for sure. I am more fond of the flooring that's in the foyer. Prefer to have that and some rugs. Lot easier & cheaper to change rugs that pull up & install new carpet. Like the prep sink in island but wouldn't want my main sink in island. Just an awesome home. Love Vanderbilt's collection of homes! Thank you, Chance, for going back there.

Very cool home. But I would prefer to have different colors other than grey. I live in a place now where the walls are grey and it's depressing especially on cloudy days. It seems to me that every house I look at has grey walls etc and I used to dislike white and beige walls, not any more, grey is worse. I like blue, green, yellow, orange even pink. I mean after all when you look outside are there not green grass/leaves, different colored flowers and sunrises and sunsets, aren't they full of red and orange wirh yellow? Even in the fall trees are colorfull. You get the idea. God bless

Hi Chance! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! This is such a Beautiful Home! I love all of the windows! And for me the carpet is perfect. The floors seem a bit uncomfortable on my feet without the carpet and just plain cold! I think the only thing I would change would be adding a nice fireplace! We love their homes, however they do not work on our county our in the NE NC area am hour from the VA border and an hour from Kitty Hawk. Otherwise, we would be working with them already.

That upstairs is big and presents a endless plethora of mind boggling possibilities that prep sink in the kitchen is too small I wish you would give us a quick shot of underneath these homes when they are not skirted out like that

This is beautiful! A little carpeting is nice perhaps in the living room, family room, bedrooms, but not in foyers, dining areas, bathrooms, hallways or on stairs, please😁. I love that the kitchen "hidden" from other main rooms and the front door! 🤗
