Sorry there wasn't a single thing said in this video that's helpful, pls focus on making content that is more meaningful , do more of "certain" things , do less of "certain" things. How vague.

I'm the type to do all bymyself, and afraid to burden other with the responsibilities. Kinda being soft with people and they start taking advantage of you . But yeah I learn to be tough with people and never do work thats not even my part unless that person pass certain criteria 😊

My weaknesses in leadership is lack of information or knowledge and communication. I might evaluate and break down some of missing core aspect in my leadership skills and improve it using deliberate practice and learning in tutorials videos & books.

I am missing an important soft skill in presentation, specific to different levels, I always explain them technically and give more ground on content so that everyone is on the same page of understanding, of course during management meetings, not all the mangers don't have time for incredible details.

I can definetly improve in the delegation aspect.

One of my weaknesses as a leader is not reading more literature unless necessary. Every day is learning however, I'm not fascinated with applying myself anymore. I have been in many board meetings, conferences, and huddles no one uses terminologies learned in college and everyone talks about metrics (key performance indicators) for stakeholder profit growth. I even switched industries thinking I was going to be doing my higher calling without the need to worry about revenues and profit. During that time, I had to increase the patient/client sessions that my licensed subordinates performed in order to meet metrics that inevitably had to do with profits. The whole organizational structure is built on profits no matter what industry. I like being a leader to help develop, mentor, and coach my teams to a win, but I wish it solely was for their betterment not based on the buy-in from them to ultimately hit numbers to make board executives and stakeholders happy with profits. I want to say Brian you are very positive and I felt your positive energy. I believe what you have said in your video. I am a visionary and charismatic leader by nature. What I have gathered from your video is a reevaluation of myself to learn why I am still in the rat race with my responsibilities and duties. I guess I like being my own boss only with check-ins from upper-level management. Entry-level positions no matter what industry makes me feel like I am fourteen again pushing the broom and cleaning up spills as a janitor when I wanted to be at the cash register speaking with people like my other classmates of the same age and making customers checkout experience positively rememberable.

Is the course premised on the recently uncovered leadership's grand theory? If so, it has the potential to be a great course! Looking at the multiple crises in the world, low confidence and trust in top leadership polls, it is not clear to me how leadership can be taught without its central theory. It is like beginning a space endeavor without understanding theories of relativity or Newton's laws.
