Followed the instructions, but 50 minutes in the oven at that temperature was WAY too long. Ended up with burnt pastry sitting in a pool of melted nuttela.

I love baking… but on my first day of cooking class where we actually made something… IT WAS TEACHING US HOW TO MAKE MICROWAVE POPCORN IN A BROWN PAPER BAG.

Haven't really seen baking skills yet. All the recipes are the same few ingredients. Kinda what a kid would make or a non baking person lol. But I do like the effort in trying different cheesecakes and simple things. Id still buy her cookbook bc u can progress yourself from simple dessert making
