Just came back to this after watching Bob Odenkirk on Hot Ones, and remembering Ruffalo and Schwimmer both having worked at Ed DeBevic's, because apparently Odenkirk worked at the one in Chicago as well. Ruffalo was right: the stars to come out of that restaurant, man.

Oh man, Ruffalo was clearly thinking "wait, is he talking about ed debevic's?" for a while and then couldn't contain his excitement.

I remember watching the episode and telling my brother afterwards, that Monica was working at a restaurant that was like Ed Debevics. It was a popular hang out for him and his college friends and I remember whenever I visited him in LA, he took me there. This was around 1990. Now I wonder if we ever went when Mark Ruffalo was working there. I wish there was a virtual reality machine that could extract and replay memories.

Why hasnt anyone made a movie with ruffalo and schwimmer?

I bet you that Ed Debevic's is loving this. To see famous celebrities that used to work for them talk about the good and the bad times but mostly good. And it's basically free advertisement.

I've never thought of this match up mostly because one of these people is part of the greatest superhero team known to the universe and the other is a super hero I guess
