すごい！ I quite like Gion also. There is a brief period of the day when it is almost deserted. On my last visit I got there early evening. The mass of to uristshad vanished and the nightlife hadn't yet started. I haven't been to the opppsite side of Kyoyto yet but does that have any comparable areas or are they mostly just all close to the Kamo and Higashiyama?
