why does not filmora 13 has a drawing feature using the pan tool😢

Caleb, good tutorial on masks. Thanks. Is it possible to slow down the preview speed on the timeline in Filmora 12? I know how to change the speed of the clip, but when I preview the clip, I'd like the clip and the music to be slower when I'm editing. I can keep pressing the right arrow to step through frame-by-frame, but I prefer to playback at 1/2 speed!

hi! when I try to add the effect into the timeline, it consumes it rather than applies into it. Why is this happening??? It seems I can't add an effect to just one timeline, it ends up being applied to all the ones under it. Please help! Thanks

I swear to god - I pressed something when editing a project and an AI mosaic that I added started to be "keyable" - like if I would change it's orientation, it remembered it. So instead of having to cut the clip into 20 bits in order to adjust mosaic orientation, it would key automatically (literally didn't have to press anything - just to adjust the position and the editor remembered it). No idea what I pressed to enable it 😭

I would like to include motion tracking in stop action sequences. What is the best way to do this? Thank you!

FILMORA SUCKS ! It pisses me off when I see all this Fimora hype! I took advice and purchased a license. OMG - that was a big mistake !
This program (while somewhat useful) is MISSING THE BASICS ! Wondershare put tons of attention of the FX while the most basic stuff suffers.

I need to edit 40 transition in one shoot (i.e. change time) = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to edit properties of 50 short clips (ie. transparency) = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to combine(join 12) clips into one = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to export partial timeline (so I can send it for preview) = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to zoom In/Out with the keyboard, with the mouse = either IMPOSSIBLE or super jerky
I want a fine-tuning of certain value (Up/Down with the cursor key) = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to edit grouped clips (i.e. speed) = IMPOSSIBLE
I want to .... there is probably much more I cannot do. That is what I discovered just on few weeks...

All the features above are available in my old CAMTASIA 2019 and are available in PREMIERE ELEMENTS, RESOLVE (free) and many other programs. I think that Wondershare developers need to change the course and potential buyers should wait until those MAJOR ISSUES are fixed. I like Filmora interface (despite some limitations) and company support is not bad (comparing with others), but FILMORA 12 is not ready for serious use unless you create a Vif from 3-5 video clips (recorded on your own Cam). Access to on-line files is also super slow and should be used only as a backup. I also do not like the paid FX showing up on the GUI list (or at least there should be an option to disable/hide paid FX).
The only thing that partially justifies the missing features is Filmora low price, but having (as they claim) 10 million users this company should add those missing features in a matter of weeks.
As of January/2023 I do not recommend buying this program. In its current stage FILMORA SUCKS.

WHOOPS! Ya forgot to change the color of the cup's reflection on the tabletop! OMG! It's the end of the world! ( just kidding ) I realize this is a quick tutorial to give out information on how to do the simple end. But while I'm on the subject - what if when I cut out the cup (or other table top object., would I cut out the reflection too and color both halves accordingly or would I have to handle the reflection separately? Thanks for making this tutorial! It's valuable!

I do not have the menu drop down on the right of the viewing screen in Filmora 12. How do I find compositing?

I've loved filmora for many years. My kids gave me a lifetime membership back in the Filmora 9 years. I've bought 3-lifetime memberships now. It's a shame Wondershare markets in an unethical manner, don't believe that you'll get a lifetime membership. - just saying

I'm thinking anyone doing any videos related to Wondershare is giving a platform to those who have been RIPPED OFF by this company. I just bought some of their other software of a trial and when looking stuff up, I see WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY THIS IS. I'm sorry I wasted about $10 on them, but what a close call.
