Techtonic plates movement its takes several decades or thousands of years to occur. Its only the upper crusts which got split but the mid and lower is still intact. This occured due to the earthquake and movement of the crusts. But it will nwver affect anyway. It may take hundreds of years more or more than that for its next move. But if several earth quake occurs it can reduce the time period more. What can be done is to cover uo the spaces in between and be in safe spaces away from this location.
