Loved it
ОтветитьLove it.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful way to age a magazine image. I really loved how you framed it with gorgeous lace, bits of book and music page...especially the asemic writing border. Very romantic! Im going to give it a try❤
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьVery Nice. Thank you for this GREAT TIP!
ОтветитьThanks for the great idea. Your work is beautiful!
ОтветитьI you sand in straight lines up and down and cross wise it will create a linen type look. Nice video.💜🐞
ОтветитьLovely piece of art, lovely music. I wish you had showed us how to make those many pretty layers you have going on in your final piece.
ОтветитьVery Cool Indeed, thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьLove how it came out. I've been working with magazine cut outs this week too.
ОтветитьHey, thanks for easy and informative video! I have seen several tutorials on this subject, but this one was my favorite. I am going to add some strong coffee to my white paint also as well as use my little nail file bar.
ОтветитьMuch better. Love,y
ОтветитьI love that you showed how to use the treated picture. So many presenters don't.
ОтветитьSandpaper is grit. 😜
ОтветитьGreat information and I ❤️ your music too!!!!
ОтветитьI liked it very much.
ОтветитьThat's a good idea to try out. I think I will go one step further by adding a light coat of distress ink - or even tea or coffee and see how that works. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьGreat tip thank you😀
ОтветитьWhat a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьHi LeAnn
Just been watching a couple of your videos we have searing heat in the uk at the moment so unless it's necessary we were advised to stay in xx
Wow! All this time and I never thought of that!! I have often liked a picture in a magazine, but did not like the gloss. Now I know what to do!!! Thank you Leann x
ОтветитьI can't see where you were going to tell us the product to buy at the dollar store to remove the gloss or tone it down. My daughter just gave it a try at making foe rice paper with DIY glue instead of mod podge and hated how sticky it was after drying. Going to try your sandpaper and loved your finished picture, thank you so much
ОтветитьSo excited to find your video - and someone else who spells their name like I do!! :)
ОтветитьThankyou
ОтветитьThis is simply the best !!!!! LOVE your creations. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьAmazing I have a load of magazines mostly garden & birds with this method I can start using them, like you I don't like the gloss., BTW new subbie
ОтветитьJust great :))) Thank you, LeAnn!
ОтветитьWow, that's gorgeous! Thank you!!
ОтветитьAwesome, thanks 😊
ОтветитьVery clever and beautiful. Thanks..... Blessings.
ОтветитьHi LeAnn. Great idea and so easy to do. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing! Do you like this technique better than using the totally awesome?
ОтветитьSuch a useful video - thank you! I’m going to give it a try. 🤗

Wonderful thank you. I've subbed. I'm wondering how it would go with a light covering of chalk paint. I don't have any but your approach could work with that as well. Thanks again. Yvonne
ОтветитьThank you was always in wonder of this....I love magazine papges. This finished piece is beautiful
ОтветитьThe weirdest thing...I had just finished tearing images out of my 20+ year old garden magazines with the idea of somehow figuring a way to degloss them to use in my journals. When I finished I hopped onto YT to scroll through random videos as I am prone to do in the evenings, and yours was the first to pop up! Kind of gave me a shiver. LOL. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьGreat tip LeAnn, thank you. I am going to look at glossy magazines differently from now on. Thanks for sharing. Xx
ОтветитьHi!! LeAnn😃
Great tips😍
Hugs🌸
I did really like it. I have a sandpaper block which I really like, just easier for me to grab onto because of arthritis in my thumb. The page you created from this one image is just my style: blush pink, soft edges, very feminine. 🌹
ОтветитьThat did make a huge difference! Wow, love the outcome!! That is beautiful LeAnn! Very creative!!
